It was exciting to open

The Dinosaur was a very exciting to open and the idea of injecting and see the magic happened was nice, it just took a minute to figure out that you have to use hot water, that was not really explain in the instructions, after you open the big ones you spect more noises or movement from the little Dino, it was a fun experience.

It was cool, but the fun lasted about 1 minute

This was a neat idea. The instructions were not super clear. I found myself scanning QR codes hoping something would tell me exactly what we needed to do. Once we added the water it took about 1 minute to open. The anticipation was awesome but then it was over. The tiny Dino poked his head out and then we were done. My son thought it was cool, but I don’t know if I would have been happy if we’d paid for it.

Hybrid Hatchers

This was such a fun experience you with different aspects to it; checking the hidden images, the syringe changing colour, the egg hatching and in the end having a new dino hybrid to add to our dino play.
Very well made and both my 6 & 3 year old enjoyed the suspense of watching it hatch.
We would definitely consider other spin Master products.

Challenging hachemal toy

Damon enjoyed the more complex hatchemal. The instructions could be a bit more clear but was easy enough to figure out. Loved the mystery of not knowing what will hatch and liked that it made him use tools.

Big surprise, Quick fun

We had the chance to try out Hybrid Hatchers for free through a Butterly campaign with Spin Master in exchange for an honest review. It was definitely a fun toy to open and my daughter loved the anticipation of what might hatch.

That said, the instructions were a bit unclear. After adding the water, nothing happened at first, and we realized later that we had to turn the egg over to start the process. Once it finally hatched, it actually startled us and gave us a good laugh. The whole experience from opening to hatching took about 10 minutes, and while it was short, it was memorable and entertaining.

The little dinosaur inside was cute, and my kids played with it briefly. My 2-year-old son ended up enjoying the dino the most once my daughter was done. Overall, it was a fun one-time experience and we’re glad we got to try it, but I don’t think I would buy a second one.

Dino fun!

Spin Master’s “Primal Hatch - Hybrid Hatchers” is a fun and engaging for dinosaur fans of all ages. The features where you find the hidden dino images, fill and inject the syringe, and watch the egg hatch are all exciting and interesting. The hatching egg makes this a high quality toy. I wish the hybrid creatures were a little more interactive once hatched, but my 5 year old found it entertaining.

The Primal Hatch Dino Hybrid Hatchers toy is very good quality and feels sturdy and well-made right out of the box. The egg and dinosaur are detailed, durable, and able to handle excited play without feeling fragile. The hatching experience created a lot of excitement — my child was thrilled to interact with the egg and couldn’t wait to see the dinosaur hatch. My child enjoyed felt like a scientist using the syringe to add liquid into the egg. Once the dinosaur’s head popped out it kept their attention and encouraged imaginative play. While the hatching is a one-time experience, the overall quality and level of interaction made it feel worth it. Because of how engaging and well designed this toy is, it definitely makes me more interested in purchasing additional Spin Master toys in the future, especially interactive ones like this.

An interactive approach to a figurine

The interactive start for this dinosaur figure was fun and puts a new spin on regular toys. The egg hatches quickly which was sudden and not like the larger Dino egg we have seen online. It would be nice if this dinosaur came with food or accessories like the big Dino egg! Overall was fun and the dinosaur is cute!
