this is the absolute only brand of cotton swabs i will use. i'm cheaped out and bought no name and they just arent the same. fall apart and feels like cotton in stuck in your ears. not fun. can get a bit pricey at times, but they last awhile so it kind of evens out.
Well known brand that is now the standard for cotton swabs (similar to Kleenex...who asks for a cotton swab? No one. They ask for a Q Tip.) I love them mostly for their discouraged but common use of cleaning my ears/ear canal. They have a good amount of soft cotton for that purpose. I actually don't like them for makeup clean up purposes, because they are too fluffy and have too much cotton; I prefer bargain brands because they have less cotton and are stiffer, which is what I want for detailed clean up situations. And I think there is zero reason to ever use them to actually APPLY makeup...one drugstore brush is cheaper than a box of these most of the time! They are expensive but I only ever purchase them on sale or at Costco, so it works.
Honestly, a q-tip is a q-tip. Nothing much to it except maybe these are a little stronger than the dollarstore type. I prefer to save the cash and use the other swabs instead.
I use these little guys for everything. Any time I have bought a cheaper version I instantly regret it, the no name versions bend so easily and Qtips never. I use them to correct makeup, clean my ears and even random household jobs.
Nothing compares to these. I've tried the cheaper Dollar Store versions and they don't feel the same or do as good of a job. For the couple extra dollars for the Q-tip brand, it is definitely worth it.
I use these on a daily basis for cleaning but they are also great to use for removing eye makeup!
q-tips arent just for your ears.
they also clean out other areas of your body.
i find they do well for in between my toes or in my bellybutton.
they work well on pets, kids, and crafts.
you can use them as a 'brush' or dabber for painting.
you can use them in snowman or snowflake crafts for kids/schools.
you can use them as fake flowers glued together on stems.
you can use them with big ends or they come in small thinned ends
you can use them to paint easter eggs
you can use them in more ways then one.
The only cotton swabs that either doesnt fall apart right away! Also had just enough cotton where it doesn't feel like you're gouging yourself with a sharp plastic end. Great for eyeliner mishaps!
The only cotton swab worth buying. Perfect for removing eye liner. But also perfect for cleaning in really small spots. There is always a box of Qtips in my house
I never buy any brand but Q-tips, because frankly, the one time when I did buy an off-brand, the top of the cotton swab fell off, lodged in my ear, and I had to go to the emergency room to get my ear flushed out. The quality of Q-tips tends to be fairly consistent and reliable.
