Sometimes you just have to stick with the brand name. Can you purchase this item cheaper? Yes. Will you suffer the cotton coming off, not being effective and the stick not being as firm? You betcha. I have used these for make-up, cleaning the hard to reach areas in the sink, the tiles, and a number of things you would never dream of... They are every mans staple. Yeah I said man. Cause he may not think of it but you will.

I like these precision tips for a variety of uses. They are great for fixing make-up mistakes, especially mascara smudges. I use them t clean up my nail polish smudges and I use them for various crafts, and are great for cleaning those tight spots around the house.

These precision tips are awesome for make up touchups or even when you smudges your make up. I also uses then fir mixing eye shadows. Also great for aroudn the house.

The Q-Tips brand of cotton swabs are very stable and don't bend when using. I have many uses for them from health care to using for certain crafts. May seem costly but you only use one Q-Tip brand compared to several of the cheaper brand.

Q-tips precision tips cotton swabs are a must have product to go with your make up kit. My only complaint is the cost. I definitely wait for a good sale and then stock up :)

Regular Q-Tips work just great, however, these precision tips are amazing at helping to fine tune makeup for a great finishing touch. Works beautifully for cleaning up mascara and eyeliner.

These are perfect for cleaning up mascara smudge, or eyeliner marks or nail polish mistakes. I've tried other pointed tip cotton swabs but I always come back t the Q-tip ones because the sticks are firm and stable, the points are just blunt enough to actually scrub and the cotton is dense enough to hold enough remover to get the job done.
