Great idea, but I don't rate the execution

I was really excited to try this, but I just didn't like it at all and found it to be pretty sub-par. Let's start with the Tweezers.

Tweezers - Wow, tweezers with a light, the idea seemed genius (especially for getting those awkward single dark hairs that grow in on places you don't want), but the execution is really lacking. I found the light didn't really work well because the shadow of your tweezers/hand just creates a lot more shadow than if there was no light. At certain angles on the eyebrow it can be handy and works ok, but my regular tweezers are better. I was really disappointed to find I can barely grasp and pull the hair with this when compared to my usual tweezers.

Eyelash curler - Another seemingly genius idea that just didn't work that well. In fairness, it did turn one of my 'low-hanging' eyelashes upwards, but the effect is far too subtle. You have to press quite hard (I was nervous about burning, but it's safe) to get the eyelashes in the comb, but it just doesn't do as good a job as a manual eyelash curler. I worry about the long-term effects of heating my eyelashes and after using it my eyes always felt a little weird and irritated from the heat. It's a neat idea, that gives a subtle effect, but I just didn't like it. Weirdly, it does work pretty well to tame kinked eyebrow hairs.

One thing I do like is that they include the batteries and the tweezers are quite chunky if you have arthritic hands, but other than that this just wasn't good for me.
