chalky sunscreen

really wanted to like this product since i'm a big fan of Riversol products, but this face sunscreen was chalky and felt really heavy and thick on my skin. i'm sure the spf/uv worked as described but this sunscreen was definitely not "lightweight"...

Best Sunscreen for Rosacea Sufferers

I am very happy with this stuff! This is a mineral based sunscreen that is fragrance free. It has a putty-like texture and is slightly tinted. I have rosacea and wear sunscreen every day. Because this isn't oily and soaks into the skin in a drier fashion, my makeup sits much better on my skin. The number one reason I love this is how it is free of chemicals and how gentle it is; my rosacea is not irritated by it at all. Given these outstanding features, this is the best sunscreen I have tried yet, hands down. I do recommend it after a serum, but skip moisturizer and, after it is applied, wait ten minutes before applying makeup to let it settle in since it is on the thick side.
