One of the best ground Coffee

I’ve tried my fair share of coffee, but Captains Blend Medium Roast truly surprised me. It’s smooth, balanced, and has just the right amount of richness without feeling overpowering. As someone who juggles a busy morning routine, this roast has become my go-to — comforting, reliable, and full of character. It feels like a calm morning on deck, even when chaos brews around me. I LOVED this!

Firstly I think the way this coffee is infused with ocean air is so unique and a very cool piece of history. I also love that it is made in Canada. That being said the flavour is so tasty and I’ve been using this to make ice coffee and it’s been great!

Delicious coffee!

Bold yet so smooth

This is such a great blend for coffee lovers who like beans that are easy to use in any recipe. My husband and I have tried the Captain's blend as a double espresso, in an Americano and in a fancy maple latte and the flavour of the coffee was just as smooth and bold each time. There definitely has to be something to this ocean air infusion too because the beans stay smelling amazing and tasting fresh over time. I'll definitely be buying more!

Love the bold yet smooth flavour

Tried the Captain’s Blend from Saltwinds Coffee and really liked it. It’s bold but super smooth—no bitterness at all. Works great hot or iced, and the beans aren’t oily, so no issues with my coffee maker. Definitely a solid brew I’d get again.

Just learnt how coffee tastes better with Saltwind

I’ve been a coffee addict for as long as I can remember! And let me tell you, I’m not just a coffee addict, but quite the coffee snob! I think need up buying an incredible coffee machine so I could make my own coffee at home because I didn’t like the coffee that’s available in most “coffee shops”! And I judge a place on how great it is based on the coffee I can find there! So you will believe me when I tell you - I wasn’t aware of this coffee till I tasted it! Saltwinds coffee really does live up to the hype and surpasses it too!
Despite being a snob - there’s one thing most coffee brands won’t tell you - and this is it - coffee wasn’t traditionally shipped in shops with metal hulls or even stored in metal containers. The really good coffee tasted as good as it did because it was seasoned with the salt winds that reached the coffee beans through the wooden hulls of the ships! And not that I know there is this incredible family in New Brunswick that’s keeping the true excellent taste of coffee alive the way it traditionally is meant to be, I’m so glad I discovered it! Now I urge you to go taste it for yourself as well! Don’t wait - the coffee is calling your name!

A great way to start your day!

I knew I was in for a good cup of coffee as soon as I opened this package of Captain's Blend Medium Roast Coffee and smelled the rich aroma. I added the recommended number of tablespoons per 150 ml of water and drooled while I waited for it to brew in my coffee maker. I have to admit that this is the most perfect medium blend I have tasted! It's smooth and flavorful with a hint of nuttiness. Maybe Ocean Air REALLY does make the coffee smoother, richer, and less bitter as I barely needed to add any sweetener or creamer to my cup of coffee!

Saltwinds Captains Blend

We recently switched our coffee to Saltwinds Captains Blend coffee. It's smooth and fresh tasting with a hint of nuttiness. My husband and I both drink medium-dark roast on the daily and we found this medium roast was a bit more on the lighter side. You could definitely taste the difference of the Ocean Air infusion vs a regular coffee blend
