The product is conveniently packaged in individual packets and the directions can't be any simpler: Mix one packet with 4 to 8oz of water to taste. The powder dissolved quickly without any clumps. Encourages me to drink at least 1 extra glass of water each day.

I've read great things about elderberry but have not tried any other elderberry products prior to this but with 500mg of vitamin C and 164mg of black elderberry extract, I trust that this is effective in boosting the immune system and would definitely use this longer term.

Refreshed after a week of cold symptoms

Samucol had me feeling renewed after feeling under the weather for just over a week, I was able to stop coughing, my sore throat dissipated and I felt alert again. I hope they over a children's version of this as well because I have never had anything relieve my symptoms so quickly.

Great tasting

It tasted great, however, it did take pretty vigorous shaking in the water bottle to break up the clumps. I was surprised at the lack of a gritty aftertaste which was nice. As far as the immunity it supposedly gives you, I felt no different after drinking it.

Perfect Time of Year for Immune Support

With the combination of cold, flu, covid and RSV, right now is the perfect time to try Sambucol Black Elderberry Powdered Drink. I thought the taste was good, but certainly unique for a North American market where we don't commonly have that as a flavour. I will have to try a week's worth or more to really see the benefit, but it's never a bad thing to have 500% of your daily-recommended vitamins to try and stave off a cold!

Decent flavour, easy to mix

The flavour tastes somewhat like cranberry juice mixed with fruit punch. 6 year old says it reminds him of prune juice and he'd drink it if it was given to him but wouldn't choose it himself. It did take a lot of convincing for him to finish the half cup I gave him. I thought it was pretty good.

Powder mixed easily with cold water and didn't drop out in the time it took to drink it. I'm not sure about the effectiveness but if someone is interested in trying Black Elderberry I think this is a good product to try. Maybe not for kids though, depending on how much of a picky eater they are.
