I would not buy the Shick Quattro again. Compared to the much more user friendly Shick Hydro men's razor, this one is horrible. The head is too small to smoothly glide over curves. And even with a brand new razor I find myself having to go over the same spot more than once. I like the ergonomic handle, but it just can't make up for the tiny razor head that's prone to nicking my skin and not gliding properly. I feel like it takes me longer to shave with the Quattro than it does with the men's razor.

I have tried many different womens shavers and this one is the keeper. No cuts, comfortable handle. Costly refills, but aren't they all? I think the cost of refills keep going up!

I'm ready to throw this thing out. I've realized that the more isn't the merrier when it comes to blades. I have to go over the same spot several times to get all the hairs (underarms especially problematic). Sure this protects you from nicks I guess, but the idea of shaving is for the blade to actually touch the hair. Oh, and forget it if the hair is long - god, it takes me like 40 min to do my legs if I haven't done it in a while (which is common). And the hair gets stuck between the blades and wont come out. But this is common with most multiple blade wire-wrapped razors, and not just this brand I guess. But the 4 blades heightens those problems. It's just not made for my hairy needs.
