Great Product Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher

Worked great to cover up my greys starting to show. Followed the easy instructions and bye bye grey roots! The spray comes out fast starled me a little but very impressed with the coverage and color. Disappointing.

I'm a huge fan of L'Oreal Root Touch Up Spray, and was excited to try out a new product in the game. Plus, I've used and loved Schwarzkopf hair products in the past, and have been nothing short of satisfied.

It DID cover the patch of greys that I have, but it scores low for the following reasons:

First off, it splattered when it sprayed, so I ended up with black blotches on my skin and neck. Secondly, everytime I touched the area of my hair where I used the spray, my fingers would turn black! It got to the point that I just had to re-wash my hair because I was so incredibly frustrated with the results.

Amazing, but dislike applicator

I love a good root cover up so I was really excited to be selected for this trial. First, it works great at covering up my ash coloured roots to match my dyed black hair. The texture it left my hair was really nice as well - manageable, brushable and a good amount of volume added, without leaving my roots feeling tacky. There was next to no fallout over the day as well. The product filled in some thin parts of my hair nicely as well.

Unfortunately I'm not thrilled about the applicator... I was expecting a hairspray applicator, this comes with a skinny half inch nozzle that drips when pressure has been released off the the trigger... resulting in black drops hitting my cheeks. Granted it does wash off easily with soap & water, but I already have my make-up done by the time I do my hair in the morning.

Ultimately I think the product is great, but the nozzle applicator is enough to deter me from buying this product.

Wow ca couvre vraiment bien et ca reste bien. Le noir esr vraiment couvrant. Par contre, il n'y avait aucune indication de comment l'appliquer sur l'emballage.

Schwarzkopf Root Retoucher

I received this product from ChickAdvisor in exchange for my review. In the past I have tried a few different similar products with varying results. I have black hair, so any gray hair is quite noticeable. This product was quick and easy to use. It has a thin tip on the end of the nozzle that always for precise application. The product wages or easily. The me you practice the easier it gets as you have to be careful not to slay to much. I wish it had better instructions. There was also a warning about spraying to much causing possible breakage which was worrisome. It did blend fairly well. Around the edges where my hair is thinner it was difficult to prevent it from going on my scalp. Overall this is a good product in a pinch it if rubbing it last minute. I would recommend if you have Gray's you need covered give it a try.

Took my grey away !

I usually dye my hair at home with a at home dye you buy at the drugstore.
I was lucky to be picked by ChickAdvisor to be able to try this Root Retoucher, I liked it, it was very easy to apply and a very quick cleanup. The results were great too. It is really good to have in your house, when you start to see greys, you have it on hand ready to go.

Great product!

I used the Schwarzkopf Root retoucher I received in the color Black which was perfectly suited for my very dark brown (cool toned). You couldn’t even tell the difference! This product was easy to apply and does not stain the skin which was something I was a bit worried about! Overall great product for in between salon visits!

Root touch up

I have never tried a root touch up before until today. I like it , easy to use no mess . A can that is small enough you can put in your make-up bag , if you need to bring it with you. I will definitely buy This product again.

Buys me time between colors!!!

I received this in the color black to try for free from Chickadvisor. My hair is naturally a light brown that I dye black. And my hair grows super fast and my roots are showing within a couple weeks of dying it.
So this product is amazing, that it buys me extra time between colorings! And it's super easy to use! Just spray and go!
I will definitely be purchasing again in the future :)
