This is a wonderful idea to have adjustable hem tape.
For $9.99 this comes with 24 strips. I love how I can bring this in my purse for those 'just in case' times when your realise that your pants are a bit too long.

The only negative thing about this is that I miss the look of a real hem with stitching..

I was fortunate enough to be chosen by ChickAdvisor to try this product. I don't often need pants hemmed, but fortunately around the time I received this product I had to hem work pants. I'm not the greatest at making sure my hemmed pants are very even, but this tape was very forgiving and wasn't difficult to remove when I needed to adjust it. I love the idea that this product isn't permanent (like another Scotch product) so that you can readjust them depending upon the shoes you wear.

This is a very handy product and lives up to its claims.

What a great option for not having to permanently adjust clothing .. Great if you just need a quick fix for an evening.

I have to say, I'm fairly happy with it. I like to turn up the cuffs of my jeans, but not all the time, so a temporary hem tape is perfect.
It lasted through the day. I didn't have two different hem lengths like normal, and I didn't need to adjust.
I did forget to take them off before washing, but they still came off easily even after the heat of the dryer.
What I'm excited to try, using on a button up shirt like another reviewer suggested!

Much cheaper than taking it to a seamstress and way less effort than me stapling my pants. I received this product as a sample and have had no issues with it. Lasted through the wash as well!

I have to say I was a bit apprehensive about this particular product, Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape. Clearly there was no need as it was easy to work with.its as simple as 1,2, 3. Read the directions first. Make sure the product is laid out flat. Measure each side to make sure you have everything even. Then get the Hem Tape and put it on your dress, skirt, pants or shorts. The tape is sticky so adhere to the material as fast and as accurately as you can. Make sure it is straight and flattened bring up the other material to make the hem. You can lengthen your dress for day and shorten it for night using the same tape. Excellent!

I actually used it to hem a pair of pants that I had bought one day and wanted to wear them that night! It was perfect because it gave me a nice, wrinkle free hem and was non-permanent, so that when I wore them for my event that night I could then take it out and wash them before permanently hemming! Perfect and Fast solution for busy ladies!

I received this product for free from 3M in exchange for an honest review. I decided to use this product to temporarily cinch a shirt at the waist and shorten a pair of pants for my son. This product is ideal for shortening pants for your child! It comes off when you need it to and stays put otherwise. I can buy a bigger size for my boys in pants and then shorten them until they fit!

I already used the hem tape on 2 of my work pants and i must say i am very happy with the results. I didnt think they would stick so well but after 4 wash and being put in the drier, they stick stick very well and look great. I was also very easy to put on my pants.. took me like 5 minutes ..awsome!
