What a fantastic idea, and a convenient way to determine how high something should be hemmed. The tape is super easy to apply, and stays in place. The only thing I would recommend changin would be for the tape to be clear rather than white. I will confess to fussing all day with a top I had hemmed as it was too long. I worried that the white tape would be exposed - clear would give someone more peace of mind. Regardless, I would definitely recommend them to others, especially for use with pants or skirts. I was super excited to receive the Scotch Essentials adjustable hem tape free to try from ChickAdvisor. My husband has short legs and thus finds dress pants are not hemmed appropriately for him. I also like to change my hem length based on occasion. The hem tape was easy to use and held well. It definitely beats unsightly safety pins!

Being a ChickAdvisor is the best! This Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem tape saved me when the heel of my shoe caught and pulled out the hem of my pants. This happens often and instead of ruining my day the hem tape saved me. Easy to use while on the go, great stuff.

I received the Scotch Essentials to review and it could not have come at a better time. I'm not great at sewing, even fixing a hem is a chore. So I used the tape on the cuff of a causal blazer where both cuffs had come undone. It worked great! It kept the cuffs down and smooth without me having to breakout the needle and thread.

I was really excited to receive this product from ChickAdvisor to review. I am not very tall but I often wear heels so I love the idea of an adjustable hem so I don't have to have two sets of pant lengths. I tried this out on a pair o my maternity jeans so I could wear flats and I was really pleased with the results. It was super easy to put on and held up well all day - no worn out hem on my jeans! Great product and not too pricey :)

This is great when you require a quick hem fix. Also great for when you want to wear flats instead of heals.

I received the Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape free to try from the Chick advisor product review club. When I first began using it I was having a bit of trouble because the adhesive is so sticky and was sticking to me more than the clothing but after a few minutes I got a stride going and became a whiz at using it! I'm very short so things are always long on me. This would be a great product to keep In your purse for those moments when you need a quick adjustment. I think because of my height I am more inclined to a permanent fix but for what it is this product is wonderful. The tape holds very well, I was able to hem a dress and the seam was almost unnoticeable. I am not savvy enough to hem my own clothing so this is a great thing to have on hand! I think for the cost it's totoally worth it but if you know that you want your clothes to stay hemmed than go with the permanent fix!

Recently I've lost a lot of baby weight and am wearing real clothes again. OMG it feels so good let me tell ya. Today I got to wear a new pair of jeans boy was I happy.....but they were soooo long. SO I opened my box of adjustable hem tape, and in 5 min my jeans were hanging nicely and I wasn't tripping over them! It only took 5 min because I had a 16mth old tugging on my other leg!!!! The double sided tape is easy to fasten and peal off the non sticky side. Press and seal, and your pants are fixed in a jiff.
