I was very happy to receive this product! As I mentioned in my other reviews, I'm not very good at sewing and it's a life savior product.

I even more enjoyed this adjustable hem tape, because it can be used for so many things! For example, to shorten a skirt in the summer, and to lengthen the same skirt in winter. Otherwise, to shorten the hems of my pants depending on the height of the shoes that I wear.

The product is a fast option and its effective and easy to use. I recommend it to everyone, that's for sure!

I received this product free from chickadvisor for testing purposes, and I was more than happy to try it out! I have always had the problem of having short legs and not being able to find pants that are not too long for my legs and I don't always have the time to hem all of my pants and I thought that this was such a cool idea and was really excited to try it out! Overall I found the product super easy to use and it stayed and worked great and depending on my shoes I can adjust the hem with is awesome!

I tried the hem tape when I was in a quick hurry to get out the door. They had simple instructions that anyone could understand. They went on my pants easy, without any problems. I was able to unstick my pants and fix them as well before I pressed down and held them. I have only washed my pants once so far with the hem tape on them and I hung to dry. At this moment I can't tell you how they hold up to the dryer. But I know so far they've done fine against at least one wash. Will leave another review or update once I have washed the pants more then once. This is something that everyone who doesn't sew or has a busy life. Simple and perfect for anyone to do themselves. Super excited for this product !

I'm a no-sew woman so when I need something hemmed, I'm normally going out to get it done. This product is a fantastic alternate for me to do these hems myself. While I wouldn't say there's no work involved, the effort is minimal for the great result - it's a quick fix solution for hemming skirts that you want to take up for a night or even pants that you may want to make ankle length for the summer. I love the flexibility this product allows for me to do different things with pieces in my wardrobe.

I was so happy when I found out that I was chosen to be part of the review panel for Scotch Essentials instant tailoring solutions! The adjustable hem tape is the 1 that I was most looking forward to trying out because I have a pair of high waisted dress pants that I love to wear with various pairs of shoes. They came the perfect length for my stilettos & other high heels, but were constantly getting dirty from touching the floor & sometimes even caught on the bottom of my lower wedges. So I tried the adjustable hem tape & was very pleased with how quick & easy it was to use. I've only had a chance to wear them once so far, so I can't yet tell how well they will last through a few uses before they need to be washed, but I would be quite surprised if they didn't hold up a couple more days because there were no signs of loosening up after the first day.

I do have a few tips though when using this product:
- The tape comes at about 3/4" wide, so if you're looking to hem less than an inch, you'll have to cut the tape horizontally. (I haven't tried this though, so I'm not sure how well it will work.)
- If you're a perfectionist, I suggest getting another person to help you measure the hem length. That way you can wear the clothes in front of a mirror while they play with different heights & mark where you want it to end up. Not that it can't be done on your own, but it might not end up exactly where you want it (especially with pants because you have to bend so far down to adjust them when on, & that bending changes the effect).

All in all, I do like this product. However, I'm not convinced that I'll buy it in the future because the cost to buy compared to what I can imagine the cost to produce is, must allow for ridiculously high profit margins. It's essentially just double-sided tape cut into strips, so considering I needed 8 strips of tape to hem my pants for only a couple of days, I think I'd rather just pick one hem length & stick with it.

I was chosen to review this Hem tape as part of the child advisor product review club. I always have issues with pants being too long. This tape is perfect for quickly shortening them and it held all day. It is VERY sticky so make sure you have it lined up right the first time or it can get tricky.

I am a short person, and the amount of time and energy that comes with pant shopping is insane! If I don't get around to dropping them off at a sewing shop (and then remembering to pick them up again!), or sewing them myself, I have to roll them up on the inside a gazillion times. Not a pretty look. This product was so fast and easy, that it made me want to go shopping!! (Don't mention that last part to my hubby!)

I was thrilled to get picked to try Scotch Essentials Adjustable Hem Tape as a Chick Advisor. I am only 5"3 so many pants that I buy are too long and I have to get them shortened. The only problem with this is that after the pants can only be worn with a heel the same height as the shoes I was wearing when the pants were hemmed. This product is great because it is temporary so you can hem a pair of pants (or skirt, dress) a certain length and then next time change it to another length by removing the old adhesive and putting on new adhesive. It is also great for just fixing existing hems in clothes that have come unravelled. I fixed the cuff of one of my dress blazers and it is holding up really well. I will have to remove it when I wash it but I have already worn it twice. I also hemmed a pair of dress pants that I normally wear with heels but I decided to wear with flats. The hem held all day long and never came loose.
This product works well and is super easy to use. You make a fold where you want the hem line to be. The package instructs you for best results to iron the hem for a cleaner fold, but I didnt. Then you peel one strip off the papers they come on and place it on the inside of the new hem and rub it firmly in place. Next you peel off the top backing on the strip to reveal the sticky side and you fold your garment down over it. Again press firmly. I used three strips each time but you can use however many you like.
The process is quick and you get 24 strips in a pack. These are great for taking on vacation and definitely saving you time while helping you get more out of your wardrobe.

I can't sew. A missing button, sure. But, a hem? No way. So, I have to say when I had the opportunity to review these I was pretty darn excited. And, it just so happened I had a pair of pants that required such an item! It worked like a charm. My only issue is it's sooo sticky that it took me a few attempts to get it right. Once I did, it stayed in place all day without having to worry about the hem falling.
I also used this tape to hold a low cut blouse together. This is so versatile!

This was another great product from the Scotch™ Essentials™ Brand and I really liked the idea behind it. I am quite tall and don't normally need to hem anything but I did use the adjustable hem tape on a skirt I wanted shortened and it worked great. Easy to use and the hem line stayed up I didn't have to worry about it coming undone or anything. Much quicker and more effective than trying to use a needle and thread.

I would definitely purchase this product again and recommend to friends.
