I liked this product I am pretty short and I have always had the problem of wrecking the bottom of my pants from wear of walking on them or stepping on them with my shoes and I though this was a great idea for a product. It did not fail when I tried it, it worked awesome and stayed and was very easy to use. Its a miracle product no more wrecking the bottom of my pants

This was one of my most anticapted ones because at the height at 5'3 it is very difficutt to find pants that fit me in the length from jeans to yoga pants.

I used these on a pair of jeans that I purchased and rarely wear in fear of destroying the hem on the bottom.
These did the job since I lack sewing skills, lasted thru 2 washes and not lifting or coming apart.
Could never tell that anything is done to them

I have to admit, I've tried using tape as a quick-fix for a unravelled hem in the past - and it's not a great solution! This is as easy as that - but with the assurance of a solution that sticks. I'm very pleased with the ease with which this can be applied and the resulting look - and the fact that even after a couple of washes, my newly "hemmed" pants are still the new length without any signs of coming undone. Being someone that's vertically challenged ;) this really opens up options for me to quickly hem pants that may be a bit too long but that fit great everywhere else.

I'm a little late, but the package has been slow to arrive.

This really is THE product I needed! As I said in a previous review, I hate sewing and I'm not very good either to do it.

My boyfriend always rips hems of his pants, and I was a bit helpless facing the situation. But not anymore! With this product from Scotch, I can arrange his pants effortlessly. And after three washes, the whole thing still holds very well!

Bravo to Scotch, and I recommend this product to all the people who are in the same situation as me!

I was given this product free for review from ChickAdvisor. Thanks to Scotch Essentials Permanent Hem Bonding Strips, gone are the days of using whatever tape I had on hand to hem up my pants! I would have unsightly creases in my pants and the tape would never hold. I've never been good at sewing and have never owned a sewing machine so other than relying on family or friends who could sew, this was my only option. I wish this product had been around sooner! It is so easy to use and actually works! No creasing & it holds up in the wash! Be sure to wash in cold and low temp dry, though! It's really as easy and peel & stick! I measured my hem on both pant legs first but did not find using an iron to form a crease was necessary. Moisten your fingers before use to prevent sticking to fingers. Peel tape backing off carefully & position tape. Rub firmly & careful peel off top backing. Fold fabric on hemline and rub firmly. It really is so easy & is a life-saver for someone like me who does not sew and finds pants I buy are almost always too long! I highly recommend this product and will definitely purchase again!

It is SO sticky! There is definitely no getting this off so make sure you have it exactly where you want it. I always have issues with jeans being too long, and I didn't want to keep using temporary tape. These are great, even washable. I will definitely keep these in the house all the time.

I am skeptical when it comes to hemming strips that take place of actual sewing. The products I have used in the past have not worked so I would always have to go back to getting my mom (yes I don't know how to sew).
Well I have tried these strips and so far I am impressed. My hem is still staying strong and it was pretty quick and easy to do.

Like the Adjustable Hem Tape, this product is fast and easy to use. The adjustable tape is more for fun, as you can change the hem length so your friends can borrow your clothes (or your 20 year old daughter). Also it can be used for turning regular jeans into capris. This product is more for a permanent use. So that nobody can borrow your good jeans ;) It is so that you don't have to worry about the stitching coming out, and you only have to hem them ONCE! And the hem is even, and looks more natural. Works on jeans, skinny or wide, work slacks (psst, even skirts!!). This product line has been a treat to review. So, get out there and make life easier!

This product is really great. I got to try it free from Chick Advisor and I am so happy that I did. I always need my pants hemmed as I am only 5'3 and sometimes I want to wear them before they can get hemmed.
I decided to hem my own pants with the help of these bonding strips. They are super easy. You iron your hem and then attach the strips at the crease and press firmly and then peel off the backing and fold your hem down over the strip and press firmly again. The adhesive is super sticky and strong. You need to remember to moisten your fingers so they dont stick too much to the strips. My pants have gone threw the wash once and the hem is still holding. The only thing i didnt like was a have a sensitivity to strong smells or certain odours and I didnt like the smell of the adhesive. But fortunately the process was quick so I didnt have to smell it for long.
This product is great for the non-sewers or if you need your clothes hemmed immediately.
