Effective but tricky application

I really wanted to love this anti-fog spray but it fell short on the stars for me. I tried a couple times (with paper towel and a cotton cloth) to get the application right and followed the directions exactly but the spray does leave a film on the glass and it’s very distracting especially when driving at night. As shown in the picture, the film leaves a “haze” that affects light and your view when driving which is a deal breaker for me.

I will say that it does help lessen the amount of fog especially going from the cold outdoors to a heated interior. I feel like this would be great to apply to side or rear windows where a slight film won’t impact your windshield.
