I love how clean this scrub makes my face feel
Way too grainy and abrasive for my face! It's perfect to use on the body, especially on rough spots such as elbows and feet. I wouldn't recommend using it more than twice a week.
I absolutely love St. Ives Fresh Skin Apricot Scrub, I have been using their products for years. This makes my face so soft after using. I have told friends about it and they love it too!!!
I don't often use a scrub, but I find St. Ives to be effective enough that I can often miss my weekly face scrub. I like that is is gentle on the skin and doesn't leave my face red or irritated after using the product. And smell is also very pleasant.
It seems rare these days to have a face scrub that doesn't use plastic particles for exfoliation. I am glad St. Ives has stuck with the apricot scrub - it is a fall-back for me when I need a face scrub AND added moisturizer. The other products in the product line definitely compliment the scrub.
Oiliness, fragrance, ease on / off, thickness - just right!
For the cost of St Ives products, you definitely get your money's worth. As a single mom with a teenage girl I have never gone wrong with this one. I have been using product for years. Great for young and not so young skin. Gentle product low cost great effects. You can't go wrong.
I have used this scrub before but didn't enjoy it. I found it left my skin feeling tight.
DO NOT USE THIS SCRUB! Even if you don't have sensitive skin, the scrub particles are too uneven and will scratch the crap out of your skin. You don't see the damage, but as some people have mentioned, if you go to a dermatologist and get your skin closely examined, you will see that your skin is scratched all over. The apricot is way too abrasive and uneven to do a proper job. This product only does damage to your skin, please use any other kind of scrub.
Great stuff! I have been using this stuff or many, many years. Always leaves my skin feeling fresh and so soft. Highly recommended!
