Nice

I got this as my Sephora birthday gift a few years back. It is a super pretty nude. Flattering on most skin types. Looks super nice with a shimmery clear gloss on top. Alone, it is a bit drying, but better with the gloss or a lip balm on top. Stays on for most of the day with little reapplication required.

Great all-around liquid lipstick!

I received this mini as a birthday gift from Sephora a couple years ago. It's still going strong! I really like the formula; it's matte without being too drying, so it still feels relatively comfortable. The colour, however, isn't super flattering on me. I have naturally pigmented lips and this shade is much lighter than them, so it looks really unnatural. That being said, if you see Sephora offering one of these as a free sample or 100 point perk, you can't go wrong!

I got the Tarte lip paint in the shade Birthday suit as a sample. I was really happy with the shade as well as the product on how it lasted on my lip. It did not crack and went well with my Medium tone skin.

Great application and finish!

I love this lip paint!! I usually tend to shy away from matte lip colours as I am afraid they will dry me out or accentuate any dryness that I have. However, this applied nicely and felt moist. I liked the way it made my lips looked- it looked both plump and the colour matched my skin nicely. The formula is great, it does not feel sticky and is very lightweight. The downside to this is that it does not last very long and rubs off easily :( Other than that, this product is good as long as you do not mind applying it throughout the day.

So Creamy!!

This Lip Paint is super Creamy! If you have dry lips and are afraid of matte lipsticks because they tend to dry your lips out, look no more! This product is great because it goes on creamy and your lips absorb the product and as it dries it maintains its colour!
The only thing I Dont like is the time it took to dry - I couldn't drink or eat anything for at least 15 minutes. However the staying power is awesome!
Of course, if you eat alot or drink alot the product will wear off, however a quick reapply works wonders !
I would Definitely buy again because of the non-drying formula. Plus this colour is beautiful!

Fairly nice product, but the colour didn't work for me

I received this as a birthday gift from Sephora along with a blush, and while I realize both shades should probably go together (and I get why they send the 'Birthday Suit' shade), the colour of the lip paint didn't work for me. I'm sure they have other colours that are fine, but I am a tried and true fan of the KVD liquid lipstick line, so unless they came out with some crazy colours that you couldn't find anywhere else, I probably wouldn't repurchase.
