So Much FUN!

OMG we LOVE IT! This game is just like the Tetris but in real life. The quality is amazing, especially the colours of the pieces. The are so bright and vibrant. It came with easy to understand instructions, my 10 year old son and I played it together and we had a blast. He loves using his 'garbage' plays on me. The first time he saw the game he couldn't believe it. If your family loves spending quality time playing games, you'll enjoy this one. Weather it's 2 or more people :)

Nostalgic but not entertaining enough

Got the Tetris board game (gifted for review) and gave it a whirl. Nostalgic? Yes. Fun? Ehh… not so much. You can’t rotate the pieces like in the digital version, so it’s basically a game of “watch everything not fit.” The grid design? Let’s just say it’s got commitment issues, pieces get stuck and refuse to leave.

They tried to spice things up with a card system and some competitive chaos, which was cute… but not enough to save it. Glad we tried it for the throwback vibes, but we won’t be stacking it on game night again.

Fun family game

This game is a really fun twist on the classic Tetris we all know. Instead of playing on a screen, you get your own little grid and drop the pieces in to make lines. The best part is when you clear lines you can send “garbage” to mess up your opponent’s board – that’s where things get competitive and funny fast.

The pieces are bright and colorful, and it’s pretty easy to pick up the rules. It feels a little fiddly to set up at first, but once everyone gets going, it’s a blast. Some games go quick, others take a bit longer, but it always feels different.

So much fun

Definitely a great new family fun board game, it is easy for everyone to learn how to play this game. Watching how excited my son got to be able to use the junk pieces on my board was priceless. One thing I love about this game is each round that you wanna do doesn’t take very long. You can play as many rounds as you want or a little as you’d like. I would definitely recommend this game to be added to your collection.

A new game from a retro classic!

This game is so fun! I grew up playing Tetris the video game and finding the board game version of this is amazing! My kids love it. It's easy to play and it's great for all ages! I would definitely recommend buying this board game especially if your family love's board games!

Fun but a little complex

#Gotitfree @Spinmaster @Butterly It was a bit of a learning curve to try to figure out how to play this game but once we got a round or two in, we started really figuring it out. The box recommends age is eaten up, but we played with our seven-year-old and had no problem. It was really fun, especially once we got the hang of it.

Our seminal had a little difficulty, remembering that the point is to get lines across not up and down ha ha but it was lots of fun, and we highly recommend two families who enjoy puzzle and strategy games as well as a little bit of competition.

A fun , competitive classic

Fun game of strategy.

I was selected to receive the tetris game for free to try in exchange for my honest review. My family really enjoyed this game and will be adding this in to the rotation for family fun nights. First impressions of the box were that it was really nice and colourful. The box is packed very well and the pieces fit back in to the box easily. The stand and game board for the game as well as the tetris pieces were very sturdy and well made. The instructions were clear and easy to understand. The game is very close to the traditional tetris game but in real life form and of course lots of strategy. The game comes with plastic bags to store the pieces in and this is where my one and only critique about this game comes from. The plastic bags are awful, they provided 8 and 3 ripped after the first time opening them. As of today only opening them 3-4 more times they have all ripped but 2. They will not last very long and i will have to find another solution, very minor but that is the only critique. The game itself is so fun and can be played in a couple different ways outlined on the instructions but me and my family have created our own versions to play too that are just as fun. We love that every game is different because every game begins and ends in different ways. This game will be a family favourite for a very long time.

Super fun ! Recommend for parents

I have been playing this with my son a ton since we got it! This is a new take on an old classic. It has some new rules that are easy to incorporate that make it fun for young players. My son is 6 and loves the opportunity to play with the Minos pieces and use garbage to mess with other players! I wouldn’t recommend this for younger players as the pieces have to go in a certain way or it will get stuck (my 2 year old tried). We haven’t had any issues however. It’s fun to play many times in a row and doesn’t get boring. Instructions are easy to follow. It’s a fun brain game and it helps my son think about next steps, shapes and problem solving. I love the challenge of the game. It’s also travel friendly, it all fits in the box nicely. Would make a great cottage or beach game for a family!
