White cast. This is all you need to know.

Terrible white cast. I'm caucasian and my skin tone is not on the white end of the color scale, I get tanned fairly easily and don't get sunburns often. But I can't use this without looking like a clown that's putting on foundation. I don't like to throw away products and I'm struggling so hard to finish this one because I want to throw it in the trash every time I use it. I'm not even exaggerating, it is really that bad. And good luck using the recommend amount of sunscreen on your face if you're using this one. I guess this would work if your skin tone is very white, but they really need to improve the formulation on this one.

Weightless

First sunscreen I have found that doesn’t irritate my skin or feel greasy! Goes on easy and feels weightless on skin. Will definitely be buying this again!

Great and light SPF

I purchased this as I have used a few other The Ordinary products and enjoyed them. When first applying it had a slight white tint to it, but this goes away once rubbed into the skin. I have oily skin and sensitive skin and this SPF has not given me any issues. It is pretty light weight and has worked great under makeup as well.

Love this for all year round! I read a lot of bad reviews on this since it leaves behind a white cast, however I am quite pale so that doesn’t bother me. I apply it in multiple thin layers and that helps me avoid looking ghostly. This actually makes me feel like I’m wearing a filter because it blurs out my blemishes. You can’t feel it on your skin at all, it seems to protect my skin very well, and it’s super cheap!
