So good!

This is so good!
It’s fast and easy to make. I love that it’s so healthy and my kids actually stole so many bites from my bowl. So I’m very pleased to say they loved it too. We microwaved it and it was cooked to perfection. There’s times when I have no time to get dinner on the table and this meal helps get that done quicker!

Perfect for Outdoor Adventures!

I decided to change things up for this review and brought The Rice Stuff Box hiking, to really put it to the test. Since I don’t use a microwave, I cooked it using just boiling water—and it turned out perfectly! It’s super easy, quick, and honestly ideal for hiking, fishing, and camping trips. The Chicken Mushroom Rice is full of flavour and it’s made by a family-run business from Manitoba, which makes it even better. I’m all about supporting the prairies, and this is definitely something I’ll be taking on all my outdoor adventures!

The chicken mushroom flavor is my favorite in the rice box options. It was so simple to make, water, mix, microwave and in moments I had a delicious side or snack! It's also great as a base to add to wraps and summer salads.

Tastes like my jasmine rice!!

Tried the Rice Box Chicken Mushroom and honestly, I was so surprised—the texture reminded me of the jasmine rice we make at home! 🍚✨
It’s such a cool concept too: just add boiling water or pop it in the microwave for two minutes, and you’ve got a wholesome, flavourful meal ready to go.
Love that it’s made with organic Thai jasmine rice, real veggies, and has way less sodium than regular instant noodles. Plus, it’s gluten-free, dairy-free, and even kid-friendly! Definitely a game-changer for busy days.

Incredibly tasty and easy!

It's extremely tasty rice - full of rich flavor and perfectly seasoned!! I definitely will buy more because all members of our family like it, especially my 2 years old daughter. I am happy that it's completely safe and contains only healthy ingredients. It's also a pleasure to find out that it's made in Manitoba, since we live here too, it's great to support local businesses.

Toddler Approved!

I had the chance to try three different flavours, and the Chicken Mushroom was one of my favourites. It has a milder flavour compared to the others — very warm, cozy, and comforting.
My toddler was a huge fan and ended up eating most of the bag himself!
I really appreciate that it’s made with clean, wholesome ingredients, so I can feel good about serving it to my family.
We’ll definitely be repurchasing this one!

Quick, Easy, Canadian, and Tasty

Love the convenience of this product! Just wish that the flavour of the chicken and mushroom was more prominent. Can see these becoming very handy as a new mom and helpful in getting a quick nutritious meal put together for my husband and I.

Quick and easy

I tried the Chicken and Mushroom Rice Stuff Box and it was absolutely delicious! You can really taste the authentic flavours in every bite. So easy to make and full of comforting, savoury goodness—definitely a new favourite! We all enjoyed it as a side dish for our meals. The fact that it was so easy to prepare with an added bonus.

Flavourless White Rice

I have to start my review with saying I'm Asian, and I eat long-grain rice and sushi rice on the regular. But this is only the third time I've had instant rice. The process isn't the easiest as the top needs to be pulled off in order to open the package, and I found it quite hard to remove cleanly. Regardless of the rest of the process, the amount of time it took me to fumble and make it probably still took me quite a bit of time - maybe 10 minutes or so. I was expecting great things, as Chicken Mushroom Flavour really does sound great. But this was quite tasteless. I didn't taste any mushroom...either that or the flavour was very subtle. I wasn't a fan of the flavour and had assumed it would be more flavourful since it suggested a flavour.

Soo delicious !!

This chicken mushroom rice was sooo yummy, lots of flavour. Instantly on the first bite I was hooked. I can’t believe it’s just a microwaveable rice too. I love how fast it is too make because I am constantly in a rush too eat. Or I’m just really burnt out and don’t feel like making something for lunch because I have to cook dinner. I will definitely be buying these for quick lunches and snacks. The best part is they are nutritious and have minimal sodium. Even my daughter loved this flavour!
