Excellent Iced Coffee!

I enjoyed brewing an iced coffee at work on my Keurig! I added hazelnut creamer to it and I was just like a Starbucks iced coffee for a fraction of the price and literally at the push of a button. I enjoyed this product very much and would recommend it to my friends and family.

Great tasting iced coffee

It has a pretty good flavour. I am a dark roast person but this was very good.
Not watered down tasting at all.
Put some sweet cream creamer in it and it was a nice refreshing drink.
Easy to make as well.

Bold yet smooth

Bold but smooth. There's not bitter aftertaste nor sourness to it. You can taste the bean oil and a nice bold coffee taste. The husband likes his black and said it is his favorite k-cup. I like mine with some cream for some creaminess to the bold coffee

I love ice brew! Because this coffee is pretty bold, it'll be fine with regular ice. But if you don't want to dilute it at all, make some coffee ice cubes!

Great coffee, needs lots of ice

This K pod from Vanhoutte tastes great and I love that it’s designed to be “iced”, however it is a bit of a difficult process to actually get the coffee to be cold. I put in 5 large ice cubes to be poured over and all melted immediately. It was lukewarm not iced, but still tasted great! I will have to play around with the ice amount to see if I can make it actually iced!

Excellent cold coffee for a hot summer day

This is a flavorful medium roast coffee to brew over ice. It is the right amount of flavor to drink cold. It is smooth, with a rich coffee flavor which is perfect to drink cold. Also works well when brewed and kept it the fridge so its ready anytime we want coffee.

Better than any cafe, save your money and buy this

This is an excellent product to make your iced coffee and customize it any way you prefer. Save your money instead of going to any cafes out there for your caffeine fix, just make it using your Keurig at home and rock n' roll. Not only is it cost effective but you're in control if you wish to sweeten it, how to and adding any kind of ingredients to it. It's a real lovely and personal experience consuming this product.

Not My Favourite

This brew over ice coffee is not my favourite. I made it and added ice, it wasn’t quite cold enough so I added some reusable ice cubes to make it a bit colder and keep it cold while I drank it. I also added some simple syrup while brewing to sweeten, as I usually do when making iced coffee. I found this coffee a little bitter even with the added simple syrup and some cream. It had a good coffee taste but I couldn’t get past the bitterness of it. It might be good mixed into a shake or to make a homemade iced cappuccino but I wasn’t a fan as just an iced coffee.

I don’t think I would purchase this in the future.

Too strong

I received Van Houtte® Brew Over Ice Black Classic sample for free to try for my honest review. I was very excited to have the option of iced coffee and never thought it would be easy to prepare. I followed the instructions but it was too strong for me (I am a classic coffee lover, I don't add sugar on my coffee too) a bit too bitter for me and I believe it could easily make two cups instead. I didn't try to use it to make two cups of coffee yet, but it's my plan.

Original and practical!

Coldbrew and cold coffee are eral must to drink in summers, but it's not always easy or convinient to do it at home. When we are in a hurry, it's totally impossible. But this Van Houtte alternative is the solution to escape a visit to a coffee shop. It's more affordable and we only need ice and a keurig compatible machine. What a relief to be able to drink a good cold coffee at home and ready in few minutes! The taste is okay/great and totally do the job! It's the easy way and it's a good way!

Makes a yummy iced coffee

I gave this product 4 stars because it did taste good and it made a decent iced coffee, whether I brewed it directly over the ice or let it sit and added my own ice. The flavor never got watered down and could rival an iced beverage purchased from a coffee shop. So, it was definitely good and I would recommend it, however, the reason it didn’t get a full 5 is I have had other at home coffee products that I have made before, not brand specific, and they yielded very similar results in that they made a good quality cold (or hot) coffee. So, up against different brands or flavors, whether it’s meant to start out as cold brew or you turn it into an iced coffee yourself, I didn’t find a ton of difference. Having said that, looping back to my original statement in this product and only this product, yes, it made a good over ice cold brew coffee and you wouldn’t be disappointed. I would certainly purchase this product again.
