Our backyard evenings instantly got cozier

We added this Vermont Castings propane patio heater to our backyard setup and it quickly became everyone’s favourite part of the evening. We have an inground pool, so even on cooler nights the kids now stay outside longer because there’s somewhere warm to gather once they finally get out of the water. It honestly made our backyard feel so much cozier and more inviting.

The flame gives off a really beautiful ambiance while also putting out a surprising amount of heat. We’ve already used it for late night chats, warm towels after swimming, roasting marshmallows, and relaxing outside after the kids go to bed.

It was also very straightforward to set up and easy to use with a standard propane tank, which we appreciated. The quality feels sturdy and well-made, and the design looks much more elevated than a typical patio heater.

Definitely one of our favourite additions to the backyard!

firswtly it definitely elevates my backyard, and this came at the right time as im giving t a makeover i love the decorative stones and logs. with how inconsistent canadin weathers are i can always know i can beoutside. and always stay warm

Made our deck so cozy!

This patio heater is a game changer for our patio. I love that it’s not your traditional looking patio heater or a fire table - it’s basically best of both worlds. It was quick and easy to set up (my husband did it by himself) it looks amazing on our deck and most importantly gives off a ton of warmth. We love it!

Completely elevated our patio

The box is incredibly heavy, but once you get past that part and get it all unpackaged the setup is super easy. I did it in my kitchen without help and then wheeled it out the backdoor. The wheels are super helpful to move it around, though it would be a bit better if they weren't plastic. It was easy to connect to propane and get the fire going. The unit provides ample warmth for chilly mornings and evenings. It is aesthetically pleasing to look at and has completely elevated our back patio. We look forward to roasting many marshmallows this summer!

Its so perfect

Some nights I just want to seat outside watch the sky or just have a good heart conversation with my man, and with the vermont castings patio heater, it makes this so perfect. Setting up was super easy and I like how you can control the heat level from low to high, ours uses the propane gas and makes it so easy

Spring nights in Toronto are unpredictable, Vermont castings heater doesn’t just warm the space, but totally sets the mood as it gives a real flickering flame with logs. Therefore it feels more like an outdoor fireplace than a basic heater.

Only get it if you want unlimited coziness!

1 week into having this patio heater and we've already gone through a bag of marshmallows and sleeves of cookies (aka s'mores!!). Having a 2 + 5 year old means we want to be careful when adding hot elements to our backyard, and this checked a lot of boxes for us. No wood = no smoke. Super easy to turn on/off and gives off a great amount of heat without being dangerous for the kids. 10/10 love and can't wait to use it again and again!

Freezing Canadian spring is more bearable

It’s May and it’s freezing… yay Canada! This spring has been the absolute worst. It’s been rainy, damp and unseasonably cold. We’re in a rental at the moment while we’re waiting for our cottage build to be finished. It doesn’t always feel cozy here, and it doesn’t always feel like home. This really added a little warmth and ambience to our rental backyard.

Having this cute little outdoor fireplace on our back deck is allowing me to keep my sanity after being ‘cooped up’ for way too long. It has a cozy cabin feel, and I think that it’s forever home will be on the back deck of the cottage.

It heats up very quickly
It actually throws off a good amount of heat – enough to stay outside for just one more margarita.
Easy to put together. Actually, easy for hubby put it together… so it was incredibly easy for me!😆
