The consistency of Wet's Flavoured lubricant is the same as their other lines of Light lubricants. Thin and a little bit watery, but not so thin as to run off right away. This product is advertised as being sugar free, but Wet's flavoured lubricant CONTAINS SUGAR. Which can create a breeding ground for yeast. This is the ingredient list:

Deionized Water, Glycerin, Carbomer, PEG 400, Flavor, Propylene Glycol, Aspartame, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Imidazolidinyl Urea, Sodium Benzoate, Methylparaben, Tetrahydroxypropyl Ethylenediamine, Tetrasodium EDTA, Aloe Vera (Aloe Barbadensis) Leaf Juice (aloe barbadensis), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E), Citric Acid

Glycerin is sugar. And Propylene glycol is a preservative that can be very irritating. You should generally try to avoid any and all parabens in your products. That being said though, not everyone will have a reaction to this ingredient. And the new bottles have a different ingredient list, much shorter actually. Whether or not that just means they've omitted a bunch (which they can legally do since anything to do with the sex industry is not regulated).

The new ingredient list: Glycerin, Water (Aqua), Carboxymethylcellulose, Flavor (Aroma), Sucralose Pentylene Glycol, Potassium Sorbate.

So they've cut out the parabens, but the very first ingredient is still Glycerin. Which the body breaks down into sugar and yeast. Not to be used anywhere near the vagina. Since a lot of the old bottles are still using the old ingredients, if you want to avoid all the parabens make sure to check the bottle for the new ingredient list.

The price is about the same as their other product lines, so you're not paying more for flavour at least. Which is good, because the flavour I tried, Kiwi Strawberry, was horrible. I found it to have an unpleasant aftertaste that was vaguely sickly sweet. The smell of it though is pleasant.

I definitely do not recommend this product. Obviously flavour and whether something tastes good or not is purely subjective. But the fact that the company advertises that this is sugar free, and then to put sugar in the ingredient list, I don't care for being lied to.
