Better the Expected

I was pretty sceptical with this product at first. I thought it doesn't look that great, but I was pleasantly surprised. I was making tacos with it and I cooked it with my usual taco mix of ingredients and WOW it was awesome. I didn't feel bloated like I would after eating tacos with ground beef. It had the same texture as ground beef and a delightful taste. I have now replaced ground beef completely and only use Yves Veggie Ground Round. I highly recommend it.

Perfect Substitute For Ground Beef

I love these Veggie grounds there is original,mexican and and Italian. I use them all original for veggie Shephard pie,mexican for burritos etc and Italian for my pasta sauces etc. They taste great even my partner who eats meat loves them. Any recipe using meat these substitute perfectly.

Absolutely love Ground Round!

As a recent vegetarian, I appreciate finding products that I end up falling in love with. I used Ground Round in my chili cheese fries recipe yesterday and it was outstanding! Yves has done a great job perfecting this versatile product. Now a must-have in my fridge/freezer!

Versatile

Been using Yves products for years. The ground round is something easy and inexpensive to add to a recipe in place of ground beef. The texture is very good and it can be used in lots of dishes in place of ground beef. We use it in tacos (their Mexican ground round is pre-seasoned), lazy cabbage rolls, Shepard’s pie to name a few! Easy to find - even many Walmart’s carry this product!

Just try this

So I started hating Yves before I even became Vegan. The pepperoni was the only thing I liked. My vegan cousin told me to try this once I switched over and I was not disapointed. It's incredible. Mix it with taco seasoning for tacos and burritos, or make pot pies or shepherds pie.
I was buying the small pack at first 340g @ $4.79cad Loblaws, but realized getting the larger pack was just better value (unless small goes on sale)
It has a long refrigerator life too which is great.

Great meatless substitute when seasoned properly

I love this stuff. It's perfect for tacos and shepherds pie. It's also good in pasta sauces, but if it's cooked too long it's texture changes, do I don't recommend
putting it with slow-cooked sauces.

It's priced well and easy to find at most major grocery stores. It's a staple in our vegetarian home!

Tastes like dogfood!

I bought this thinking it could replace ground beef for me. I used taco seasoning to flavor the veggie ground and it was disgusting! The texture and taste resemble dog food. It also has a strange smell to it. I would not recommend this!

My son would eat this every night if I let him!

As vegetarians finding food that doesn't make your child 'stick out' at school is hard. With Yves products you get flavour and a healthy alternative to serve your family. We eat Yves at least 4x a week. We use the veggie ground round in goulash, loss 'eat' sandwiches, sloppy joes and in spaghetti. Deliscious!

Would buy again

I absolutely love everything about Yves products. I can not eat meat as it makes me very sick so I always turn to Yves for my meat substitutes. I will always buy this product.

You would not know it is Vegetarian!

I have been trying to reduce my meat intake and thought I would give this a try. I made spaghetti sauce and my husband could not tell the difference!

I added fresh vegetables and cooked the veggie ground the same way you would cook regular ground beef. I used spiralized zucchini for noodles.
