Baby Gear - Carriers Reviews

Baby carriers are often underrated, and yet some will argue that they are as important or more than a good stroller.  We've been bundling babies to our bodies for centuries at least, knowing instinctively to pair convenience with the benefits of mother-child bonding.  From those age-old methods to the modern strap 'n buckle models like Infantino or Baby Bjorn, some of the most popular baby carriers are the old-is-new-again Slings and Wraps (eg. Moby).

Our Tip: choose a baby carrier with the caregiver's comfort and fit in mind as much as Baby's!

Ergo Baby Back Pack Carrier - Heartrose/Rose

1 review

I have used this Ergo carrier with my youngest two daughters, it has been a lifesaver for us! I’ve used it to carry in all three positions (front, back, and hip) and I’ve never found a carrier with better support and comfort, my daughters love it too!
Ergo Original Baby Carrier

I found this carrier at a second hand shop. It’s a great simple carrier for basic needs. My husband who’s 6ft and me at 5’5, use it both quite comfortably. I do find that at times it can be tricky to put on by myself, especially with the clip in the back. I’m not that...
Beco Gemini 4-in-1 Baby Carrier

I started my baby carrying days with a stretchy wrap that I absolutely loved. As my baby got bigger she became too heavy for a stretchy wrap. My husband didn't like wrapping much so we went with a soft structure baby carrier. After trying on a few we went with the Beco...

This baby carrier is a serious life saver! I have 14 months between my two kids so I couldn't have functioned without this piece of kit when both want to be carried or in a pram!
Boba wrap.

This is absolutely one of my favourite baby “gear” items and I think is a must have for every mom! I regret not having discovered this with my first baby. It literally made life so much easier. Baby #2 pretty much lived in this wrap for her first 2 months. She was so snug...
Moby Baby Wrap

I used the Moby with both of my children and it always calmed them down and let me get housework done at the same time. They do get a little hot, so I suggest wearing it with a tank top no matter what the temperature is!
Infantino Flip Carrier

I love this for when my baby is being fussy and wants to be close. We pop him in there and carry him wherever we go. It is easy to convert. It works great and he loves it.
Diono Carus Baby Carrier

Considering how quickly babies outgrow just about anything you buy, having a baby carrier which can be adjusted depending on their size, weight and situation is very useful. Instead of being forced to buy multiple carriers, the Diono Carus lets you simply switch from carrying...
couche lotus baby

Mother's Lounge Seven Everyday Slings

Maybe I did not have the right size, but it did not encourage me to carry my baby AT ALL. It is not ergonomic for the baby's development and not so comfotable either. I'm glad I bought some other options to carry my baby around (wraps, ring slings...). You cannot adjust it, you...
Baby Bjorn Active Baby Carrier in Black / Silver

Easy too use. Baby can be faced both front and back, so you can use for long time. Very comfortable with reinforced back support. Good for taller people too. Husband like it, he found the wrapping carriers a bit confusing and hard to use.

I love the padded straps and all the pockets. It is very durable and holds all the necessary items. It even kept water cold inside on a hot day. Would recommend this highly to anyone who needs to be hands free.

Evenflo Snugli Comfort Vent Soft Carrier, Gray/Aruba

I love this carrier. I've used it with three kids now, and it is still in great condition. It isn't nearly as expensive as some of the other brands. My kids were always happy to go in it, so I assume it was as comfortable for them as it was for me.

Binxy Baby Shopping Cart Hammock

You hear all these things telling you it’s unsafe to put your car seat on top of the cart, put it in the basket, but that takes up so much valuable basket space! This is the perfect solution, place your baby in the hammock and stack everything underneath! Sometimes when I’m...
