From the Manufacturer Be comfortable: the design of Moby wrap for it uses your entire back, as well as your shoulders, to carry the weight of your baby. Unlike other carriers, which have narrow straps or go across one shoulder, the Moby wrap is a wide piece of fabric that is wrapped over both shoulders. It is amazingly comfortable and easy to wear. There are no buckles, snaps or other fasteners. It is easy to adjust the fit of your Moby wrap by varying how tightly you wrap yourself and your baby. Be secure: the Moby wrap comes with an easy to follow instructional guide, with the single stretch cotton and the width of the Moby wrap, your baby is wrapped close and tight, insuring a secure hold. Your baby's head can also be secured under the stretchy cotton fabric for added safety. Be uniquely close to your baby: there is not a lot of extra material or bulky padding between you and your baby. Your baby can hear your heartbeat and finds comfort in the warmth of your body, along with the cuddly confines of the Moby wrap. Comfortably supports babies from birth to 35 pounds - even twins. The Moby wrap is long enough to adapt to your growing baby. Moby wraps measure 5.5 meters in length and Moby DS measure 5 meters. All Moby baby carriers can accommodate babies up to 35 pounds. Versatile: there are many ways to wear your Moby wrap. You can wear baby cradled, facing you, facing the world or as a sling. Product Description The Moby Wrap is one of the most comfortable and versatile ways to wear your baby. There is no other place your baby would rather be.

My daughter and I love our Moby Wrap! I agree with the other users that it's a little confusing at first, but if you watch the YouTube videos you'll be set. My daughter loves it and once she's inside she sleeps instantly. Since it's just one big long sheet it folds up easily and doesn't take a lot of room to store. I'd highly recommend it to any new parent.

I found this confusing at first. If it hadn't been for some videos I found online I would've given up.
My daughter still isn't sure about it. It's hit or miss.

This was without a doubt the most valuable baby item I had purchased. It is so comfortable and versatile, I love that one size fits all and that your child will never really out grow it. At 3yrs my older son is still carried in it from time to time. Love it!

The Moby wrap is a must have for new moms! It is light weight, easy to use and very comfortable. It helps keep baby close to mommy and give mom hands free.

I work in a baby store and this is by far my favorite carrier for new babies. Great support for the back for mom and great head and body support for baby. If you are planning on buying a carrier for your new baby this is the one that I always recommend.

I loved this for my newborn i bought everything with my kids mainly cause i just love to shop and there were things i wanted to try out i had a few carriers but for when she was 1,2, and 3 months this was the one i used because it was the one that brought her the closest to my body she could feel the heat of my body and have the comfor tof my heart beat YES this is great for your newborn

This is great for newborns up to 3 months at least of us this is when it seems the most effective. Once you have wrapped your baby in this soft jersey wrap for a few minutes you will see how being close to you calms them immediatly wonderful product that has soothed both my children through some of the most fussy times and saved my sanity.
Once the kids get over about 20 pounds i would recommend switching carriers to something with more stucture as the moby does not hold its shape as well and becomes hard on the back.
Every new mom needs this it washes wonderfully and has just the right amount of stretch in to make it easier to wrap then some others of they same type.

It did seem expensive for what is essentially just a long stretchy piece of material.
And it did seem overwhelming at first learning to tie the thing so that is was comfortable for both me and baby.
But when you get it right - WOW! It cradled my newborn and grew with him until he was 2 and would rather walk everywhere himself. I even gave my 5 year old a test ride in it and it held him comfortably for the both of us too (although there is no way I am packing a 5 year old around - lol!)
There are also a number of different ways to tie it and positions for the baby too. Very versatile!
