I use these Ziploc bags for almost everything including sandwiches. They are durable and I don't have to worry about them ripping like the cheaper alternatives. Not that expensive and does a great job at storing. Highly recommend.

I buy Bernardin snap lids to do canning with every year. You can re-use the glass jars, but often the lids get damaged when you break the seal. You buy 10 lids in a box and you can get different sizes.

Although this product does do the job and I do like it, I would definitely not recommend using it for food storage outside produce. Due to the fact that it is not made of glass, it stains very easily and does leave a bit of a smell afterwards.
