Claires, and Icing by Claires (two separate stores) are the same type of store as Ardene, but they seem to have a much wider selection of merchandise and their staff is most certainly more pleasant. Their prices are decent; I've only purchased a few nailpolishes from there so far, but I find they're worth it. They're not salon quality, but that's what my rock hard top coat's for!
