When you feel like going for something extraordinary beyond your Chinese takeout, why not try some fine Indian cuisine from India Palace. Make sure to get yourself ready for a royal treatment! My boyfriend and I were kind of hesitant entering the restaurant, as it was pretty empty compared to the few other Indian restaurants in the same area. "I hope this is not a reflection on their food," I thought.

We were greeted politely by our server. Our plates were brought warm to our table before our food arrived. The food came immediately after appetizers. I was impressed by the efficiency of the service alone that I would still return if the food was just okay.

Then our food came. We ordered a Butter Chicken ($10.95), Jumbo Prawn Masala ($15.95), two orders of Naan ($1.95 each), and steamed basmati rice ($2.95). The Naan is warm, soft, and crispy at the same. When dipped in the rich sauces of the butter chicken and prawn masala, it is even better. I highly recommend the velvety butter chicken for everyone, especially for those who can't stand a lot of heat. It is absolutely divine! You can tell that the food is excellent when the conversation between bf and I becomes nonexistent besides a few exclamations of "oh my god! that's delicious", "mmm...", and "wow!"

Our dinner was more expensive than usual, but if you're on a budget, drop in for the buffet lunch for $8.95. Needless to say I'll be coming back for more!
