I went to my local store to purchase material to make a blanket. Their prices were comparatively cheaper than other big box stores. Closer to wholesale. They also sold remnants which are good for quilt making. They had an abundance of craft supplies at a cost considerably lower than other craft stores. They offered a wide variety of cloth material as well as everything from beads to scrap booking supplies. I was equally pleased to find discounted clothing, kitchen supplies and tons of other things. I might add that the one located in Port Dover, Ontario is open 364 days a year. Worth the trip.
