Ive have been subscribing to Netflix Canada for close to a year now.I absolutely love it!I know people complain there are not enough new releases and the content is not as a good of a selection as the USA gets but I always find something. I love looking for a movie nightly and I'm so open minded to watch anything.Ive found so many great movies,quite a few duds but that's the fun of it.For only $7.99 per month you cant beat this deal!I never go to the video store anymore and very rarely go to the movie theater.I also love watching TV series on there I have got hooked on so many.If your a movie buff this is something you will never get sick of.

We have subscribed to Netflix for over a year now and I can't see myself ever switching back. They have all the new releases, and receiving/returning via mail is so convenient.

We have the $14.99 plan where you receive 3 movies at a time with unlimited rentals per month. This is perfect for our family - 1 movie for the adults, 1 for the kids, and 1 for the whole family. You also have access to many movies on "View Instantly", though the selection for this is more limited. Still, we are always able to find something that we all enjoy to watch. Considering that the price at the regular rental places is $4-$5, it is a huge savings.

We also find that we buy far fewer movies because (a) you can keep the Netflix rental as long as you like (although I think in the fine print if you keep it for more than 30 days you are billed the retail value) and (b) you can watch others online as often as you want. For example, I was planning to buy Enchanted (with Amy Adams/Patrick Dempsey) but since it's available online we just watch it whenever we want!

The only drawback is that you have to wait between sending it back and receiving the next one. This can be annoying if you spontaneously decide you'd like to watch something. We have on occasion run out to Movie Village for those few times. Overall though, we have saved a ton of money.

At first, I thought that renting movies over the internet was a dumb idea- I'm fairly frugal (read: CHEAP) and didn't think that we rented movies often enough to warrent a monthly bill. Little did I know, it would be a life saver.

The way it works is as follows: go to the website, Netflix.com, and sign up. You pay just $8/month for an UNLIMITED amount of movie watching. Go through the site, pick out either your favorite movies and rate them, and Netflix will then suggest movies they think you'll like; or just choose which movies to rent, put them in your basket, and off it goes! You get a movie within a day or two, watch it, send it back (free of charge) in the same envelope, and as soon as they receive it, they send you your next choice!

My husband is deployed, and with two little ones at home, this has been a super convenient way for me to have something to do in the evenings without having to bundle everyone up and drive down to Blockbuster. It's convenient, no late fees, no hassles. Awesome. Now, if they would just send over some Milk Duds and a bottle of wine, I'd be set.
