Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer - Clear

Broke me out :( I don't have acne-prone skin, but this was SO heavy. It also made my foundation pill. I've tried different quantities of product hoping it'll reduce the pilling, with no luck.

This was the first primer I used, and it serves it's purpose. I've since found others more suited to my skin type, but do feel this primer works well for those with enlarged pores to provide a smooth canvas for the rest of your makeup. It feels - not quite greasy on your skin, but like it leaves a film. I've always hates the packaging, as a lot gets left on the sides of the bottle - I have to use a q-tip to get the rest out. I prefer the new tube packaging.

I know this is one of the most beloved primers and all, but I'm not that into it.

It has a really slick, silicone feeling to it that makes me feel like I'm wearing a really soft mask on my skin. But hey, if you have any weird, uneven texture to your skin like crevices from acne, this is fabulous for filling those in and really does make makeup last longer.

This is the only primer i use!
I was new to the primer world when i bought this one. It doesn't come cheap so i was a little worried.

But a little goes a long way. I don't wear it everyday but for a night out or a special day i treat myself.

It leaves my skin very smooth as is. But when i apply foundation after. It really sticks to my skin and gives Amazing result!. It really does what it says

This is a nice product. It applies smoothly, and allows mineral make up to apply evenly. The only draw backs, are that I find I need to use more of the primer than another primer I use. Also, the price is really steep. For the same results and at a cheaper price, I prefer Sephoras primer.

Even if you don't have to attend a function that warrants your makeup to be flawless, used sparingly everyday, this product delivers runway effectiveness. Application feels satiny and makeup glides on with ease!! I used a foundation brush to apply mine, I found that my makeup stayed in place at the end of the day...paired with Photo Op under eye concealer, I was getting awesome comments on my complexion/makeup!

I have recently extended my make up buying from cheap drug store brands to the more elite, expensive brands. I am a make up-ahollic! Which is ironic since i don't wear it on a daily basis. As a usually thrifty shopper, it was hard to part with my $40 to purchase this product but I love it! Since I don't wear makeup daily, this product is lasting me forever! It also didn't hurt my conservation efforts that I lost it for a while, but managed to find it right before I went out to buy a new one. Anyways, this product feels like silk going on and a little dab goes a long way. I'd bathe in the stuff it was cost effective as I love the feel. It's light weight and non greasy and it keeps my make up exactly where it belongs! Not only that but it really assists in obtaining that smooth finish that you can't always get without a primer. Also, as a primer, it fills those fine lines that are unavoidable as we age. This product will always be a staple in my beauty collection!
