Great shampoo for spring/summer -- leaves hair nice and light and turns your shower into a spa. The smell is… in a word…. therapeutic.

The best thing about this shampoo is the smell. It's amazing. So minty fresh. It really energizes me in the morning to use this. Just a tiny amount is needed to clean your hair, and clean it does. My scalp and my hair feel amazing after using this. I will be buying this forever.

In terms of effectiveness, it is not the best shampoo made by Aveda but it is a good basic shampoo for all hair types. I have very thin straight hair and I found that after a while of use it dried my hair out quite a bit eventho I only wash every two days or sometimes three days.
I recommend it as a good everyday shampoo for people with regular hair but if you want something for a certain type of hair or are looking for a specific result try some of the other Aveda shampoos.

The first time I experienced this shampoo was actually in a sample given to me by my hotel room out west in Vancouver. As soon as you open the cap the smell is so refreshing. If you're working long days and need a pick me up, this one is a winner.

I REALLY REALLY like this shampoo. The mint in it really makes your scalp tingle. I love the smell of mint, it is my fav. Worth the money!!

As far as price points go, this shampoo is on the more expensive side; however, aveda products have a very specific audience - naturally sourced and human tested ingredients are more costly to the pocket book but easier on the conscience. Aveda has a global minded approach to beauty products and they have made products that are sensuous AND effective.
I used this shampoo more when I was going through my "straight" hair phase; the Aveda curl shampoo is now my standby for my crazy curls but I still bust out the rosemary mint when I want that 'tingling clean' feeling.

This is one of my all time favorite shampoos. It smells divine. Not only that, but it makes my hair feel super clean. If I use it too often, it does dry out my scalp a little though. Paired with the matching conditioner, I can feel clean and beautiful all day.

This is by far my favorite shampoo of all time. I love how it makes my fine, straight hair feel. I love the Aveda natural concept. However, the best, BEST part of this product is the smell. It's not too sweet, not too musky. It's sexy and earthy at the same time, but the mint keeps it just a little refreshing. I can hardly stop smelling my hair through the day! This is one of those shampoos that really let you feel the clean; it feels really deep-cleansing but my hair always looks very healthy and not stripped after use*. It feels, smells and makes your hair looks amazing.

**Bear in mind, my hair is combination oily with dry ends as-is and is currently free of chemicals, colour or any miscellaneous processing such as. Your hair type (and nose type!) may not feel the same way about this Aveda godsend as I do.
