Aveeno Calm & Restore

Received this product for free as a trial through Butterly and since I've been using it my skin actually feels smooth not all rough. It covers great and it's not greasy what so ever. I will continue to use it on a daily basis and if I'm able to afford it once I'm out I would definitely purchase this product. All in all it is a great product.

Thick moisturizer leaves white cast

This is a thick moisturizer that doesn’t blend in easily. It has a light peach colour to it, but I found after massaging it in, it left me with a white cast. I do think it evened out my skin, but the white cast isn’t complimentary in my opinion. I do think it was moisturizing after it was rubbed in, but I think there are better products out there.

Great everyday product

As someone who has had skin cancer in the past, skin care is very important to me. I love that this goes on smoothly, clearly and leaves my skin feeling moisturized. As a busy mom, having a moisturizer and SPF in one helps minimize my skincare routine, saving me valuable time in the morning. I especially love that it’s unscented, dermatologist recommended and safe to use on my children.

Aveeno is a great brand, but I'm not a fan of this

I wanted to love this product because I do like Aveeno products but I can't stand feeling like there is something on my face. This is why I don't wear makeup. This felt like there was a film on my face that made it feel dry and sticky at the same time.

I’ve been on my skincare rave and honestly it’s been a while I’ve been trying to find good clean ingredients. This one is 49/100 on Yuka ! It says that it has a high risk and is a potential endocrine disrupter!

Great moisturizer and sunscreen

Nice moisturizer with mineral sunscreen. No need to use 2 different products. Seems to be unscented or light oat smell. Looks tinted but doesn't seem like it when applied to the skin. Gives the skin a light glow or shine, feels light weight and smooth but a little sticky to me.

Light weight sunscreen

Smooth and silky, lightweight facial moisturizer with sunscreen. No heavy feel or stickiness. My skin was left feeling moisturized but not sticky. It was lightweight and did not cause any skin sensitivity.

Was ok, but not for me

Coming at you with another freebie! @thisisbutterly @aveenoca, this cream is a different one. It looks like a bb cream coming out, but it spreads like a sun screen. It rubs in really nice and absorbed fairly quickly. no scent. I did have one issue I sweat a lot due to the medication that I take. This product would run easily and get into my eyes. I even tried using less of the product, but it didn't matter. So I've been using it from the nose down. 3.5/5 stars

Very moisturizing!

The Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer has been a great replacement in my skincare routine. After only one week, I have noticed that my face is a lot smoother. Even through the winter weather, I am not drying out. The SPF is an added bonus since even in the winter it's important to protect. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the texture is a little thicker than I would have liked. I need to use a little more than I'm used to, to make sure to fully cover my face. I would usually go for a moisturizer that's more thin and spreads a little easier, but I'm sure this is what is helping to restore moisture to my face so easily in the winter.
