Too heavy

As a moisturizer I felt this lotion was too heavy for the face. My skin couldn't breath. It also cause a rash on my 13 yr old daughter. After two attempts I didn't not continue

I received this product for free in exchange for an honest review. I was really looking forward to trying this product because I've never been able to find a sunscreen that I really like. In general I've liked other Aveeno products and thought I would at least like this one too. Unfortunately, I really don't enjoy it, it's hard to spread on, it takes a long time for it to absorb and it still leaves a white cast and a tacky feeling on the face.

It's not exactly right for me.

The product lives up to its claim. However, what I didn't like about this product is the fact that the finished look after the application on darker skin tone. It doesn't look good on a darker skin toned individual like myself.

it moisturizes well

Aveeno® Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer with Mineral SPF 30 is not easy to apply evenly, but it moisturizes well. it also works to hydrate my skin and prevent the signs of premature aging due to sun exposure.

humectant level

A whiter or a lighter shade for the product may be a little more desirable. Calming and soothing attributes are more associated with a whiter shade. Also, stains may be a drawback with the product color. Enhanced levels of humectant in the formulation may not only help with moisture retention but also improve the rheology parameters.

I did not like this product

I tried this sample, but was very disappointed. I really wanted to love this moisturizer including sun screen, but it let my face with a white build up. I have to put on foundation to try to cover the ashy look on my face, so this product is not for me.

Not suitable for my skin tone

When I tired Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily I found it left a residue on my skin, and didn’t blend in well with my complexion. When I tried it on my daughter, it didn’t have the same effect.

I could see the moisturizer around my hair line and choose not to use it again. It did make my skin look tone and healthier to a degree, but it looked unnatural.

Might as well put banana boat on your face

I received a bottle of this for free in exchange for an honest review. It’s scentless and has a beige tint that rubs in well. I don’t like how hard it was to wash off at the end of the day, my face still felt tacky. I didn’t find that it helped with my skin tone after using almost the whole bottle and it costs $38 at Walmart so I wouldn’t buy this for myself personally.

Aveeno lover but disappointed

I’m a long time lover of aveeno products. I was so excited to have this opportunity to try a new Aveeno product with SPF. Unfortunately I found it to be too thick and I did not like the feel of it on my skin. I will be returning to my usual aveeno gel moisturizer (that I love)

Would use as a sunscreen but not moisturizer

I didn't love this product. I didn't find it light weight. It felt like I was wearing a normal sunscreen on my skin. My skin was tacky to touch and the product didn't sink in. This arrived right as I was going on sun-filled vacation. I took it in replacement of my regular moisturizer. I can confirm the SPF did the job and I didn't get burnt. I did reapply throughout the day and the texture didn't improve or get worse. I appreciated that the product size was 48 ml. I will use the rest of this over the summer as a sunscreen - but won't be repurchasing. At that price point I have other moisturizer and separate sunscreen options that I prefer.
