Not so good

It’s okay but I didn’t see the big difference on my face.
I expected it to be more effective. It’s gentle on the skin but it didn’t do much. May be I should use it for longer time.

Light and non-greasy

I always have problems with soaps and body washes but this one surprisingly is really decent so far. I find a lot of soaps leave my skin feeling greasy and filmy the next morning and I will normally be broken out. Aveeno was actually light and I can say my skin feels great the next day. No additional breakouts either. My one and only complaint was how liquid it was. I feel as though it would make a better soap bar than having it in liquid form. I was worried i would accidently over squeeze the bottle and lose half the soap down the drain

Very gentle exfoliator

This exfoliator is great for super sensitive skin. It has no smell and feels nice on skin. It has more of a creamy feel and skin feels moisturized after using it. For my skin personally I didn’t find it to be the best exfoliator. Since it is in a face wash format I found that it didn’t deep cleanse my skin, if I had any makeup on it I definitely needed to double cleanse with another face wash first and then this one to remove the makeup and for my face to feel clean. I also had a few breakouts and didn’t find it helped much in that regard. My favourite point of it is that it is gentle, leaves skin moisturized (not tight) and can be used for every day.

Caused breakouts

After the first 2 consecutive uses my skin was so soft and I was so impressed. However, on the third day my face had lots of new tiny breakouts and blackheads forming. I have enough problems with acne that I have declared this product is not for me.

A different sort of exfoliation..

This product is a creamy face wash, basically. The instructions say to either apply the product to dry skin and wipe off or to apply to wet skin and rinse off. I suggest you apply to a wet face and rinse off if you are used to a face wash-style of exfoliator because this product will feel like you have a lotion on your face

Not as effective as other aveeno products

It didn’t work as well on my skin- it seemed way too mild. As an Exfoliator, I think it didn’t have much beads/ the right texture for exfoliation. There is scope for improvement in my opinion.

Unfortunately, didn’t work for me personally.

I have very dry and sensitive skin so I was excited to try this product out as it is apart of the Calm + Restore line. This product claims that it is developed for sensitive skin and is hypoallergenic. Unfortunately, I tried this once and noticed a reaction (small red dots/hives) on my skin immediately afterwards. I am very aware that my skin is finicky and reacts/flares up at random because of my rosacea. So this definitely could just be a “me” thing. I may be willing to give this product another shot though because I did find it to be moisturizing.

More of a cleanser

My skin felt great after using this but I'm not sure how effective it is as an exfoliator as it doesn't have any micro beads or anything, it just felt like a cleanser.

Not what I’m looking for in an exfoliator

The product does say that it’s a gentle exfoliator and can be used everyday. Personally I like an exfoliator that I feel is gentle but also scrubs my face clean. So not for me.

Exfoliating fash wash

I tried the AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator and its very gentle on the skin. The texture is fluid, thin and not sticky. There are no grits in the cream, which surprised me on how this product exfoliates. It doesn't remove your eye make-up, so you will need another product for that. It leaves the skin feeling light and moisturized after application and rinsing.
