All of these years, I've been buying dry shampoo and always frustrated with the chalky residue that they left behind in my dark hair. I'd always pat away as much as I could, try to brush it out and end up adding water, which totally made it being a dry shampoo pointless. So I was excited to try this sent to me for free in exchange for a review. It's packaged cutely, and affordable at my Shoppers Drug Mart it was around $8.99 but it will last you awhile! I found the scent to be like an aerosol hairspray type of scent but it didn't seem to linger too much once it was actually in my hair. I didn't get any product flakies on my shoulders either but that could happen if you use too much. Less is more with this, let it soak up your natural oil, you can always spray more but if you feel that you've used too much...well then you'll likely have to wash your hair which would make this product pointless. Because you don't need very much, this size will last you a long time. It left my hair soft, it didn't feel like I had used anything and bye bye oil! So if your hair naturally gets oily fast, or if you're going camping or you just prefer healthy hair and don't like to wash it everyday but still want to keep it looking and smelling fresh, check this out. Pros:no chalky residue, easy to use packaging, great value for the amount that you get. Cons: I don't think the large size can be carried on (I could be wrong) for a flight, however travel sizes are available, aerosol hairspray scent.

I love the idea behind this having the brown tint! Incase your hair is coloured it will help root cover up or will tan your hair part to give the illusion of fuller hair. The downside of the colour is it will get on your hands if you put a lot in your hair then run your fingers through, although it washes off with ease. This means don't put it inwith your shirt on either or the shoulders will have a light dusting- which again washes off. It is definitely one of the better dry shampoos I have used and smells amazing!

I go to the gym a lot, so my hair tends to be a little bit oily. I've tried so many different dry shampoos, but most of them make my hair feel really rough and grainy. Batiste is the only dry shampoo I've tried that doesn't give my hair a weird texture. The normal Batiste dry shampoo does sometimes leave a slight white cast on my hair, but this one definitely doesn't! It blends right into my dark brown hair and leaves my hair feelings clean and smooth!

not really a big fan of dry shampoo as it normally leaves a thick dusty film in my hair but this one is alright. only because it matches better with my hair color. it still makes it feel thicker and a bit sticky at first. you have to get used to it.

I always try every single brand of dry shampoo and nothing ever works for me. Also, because I have black brown hair, my hair always comes out looking grey. I love Batiste tho! It sprays brown which is AMAZING and it actually soaks up the oil in my hair. I am having a bit of trouble finding it in stores, but this is a product that I will order online if I have to.

I was lucky enough to sample the new Batiste Dark and Deep Brown dry shampoo. I have been using the original Batiste dry shampoo but hated that it turned my hair grey no matter how much I tried to blend it. I was extremely pleased to find out that Batiste finally came out with a dry shampoo made specifically for people with dark brown hair. Not only does it blend perfectly, but it also has a great scent. I will definitely be using this product from now on.

I've used plenty of dry shampoos in the past, from drugstore to high end and I always find myself going back to Batiste because its effective and gets the job done. Now that it comes in dark and deep brown its a must have for the girls who tend to over use their dry shampoo's and are concerned with a white cast. Not that I have ever had this problem - but knowing that it can match my roots is insurance that I welcome. I like to throw this in my gym back and use it after a work out - flip my hair upside down and shake it out. My hair is more voluminous and smells fresh - what more can I ask for?

It really got the job done. I like that it is a dark colour so I wasnt worried about the white residue that you sometimes get with other dry shampoos. Try not to touch your hair after, since it does get on your hands. But overall for a dry shampoo it was very effective and I would definitely recommend it!

I received this product as part of the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. I've used Batiste Dry Shampoos in the past and they work great. They are more expensive from the drugstore, so they had better perform well. Likewise, it is great to see a dark dry shampoo that is available from the drugstore, as dry shampoo can look white and powdery on dark hair. This dry shampoo definitely solves that problem. However, this does create other problems in that the dry shampoo powder transfers pretty easily, like when you scratch your head, or put a white hat on. Spraying is also a delicate and precise process, as this doesn't disappear on walls. Because this is powdery, this is great at getting rid of oil, so looks wise, everything is great. I would only use it if you are planning to wash your hair that night, or if you don't tend to touch your hair very much, but you are still going for third or fourth day hair. Overall, great option for dark hair, practicality suffers though.

I really liked this dry shampoo. I have brown hair so I have found in the past that spraying white product left my hair looking dull at the roots. I was worried having just recently h highlighted my hair that it might be too dark, but it was great! It has a nice fresh scent and doesn't leave your hair feeling heavy or weighed down with a feeling of residue. I also find it gives some volume.
