Perfect dairy-free alternative

I received a full-price voucher for this ice-cream, as well as a super-cool spoon to eat it with!

I think it's wonderful that the brand came out with a dairy-free alternative! It's my favourite store-brand for ice-cream so I'm happy so many other people can enjoy now (especially Vegans, and those who can't eat dairy). I think it's pretty good for the price (especially when on sale) since non-dairy alternatives tend to run quite pricy, and don't offer such cool flavours. I definitely recommend for non-dairy eaters, but for those who can eat dairy, I say stick to the regular line since I find the dairy versions to taste better, but for being dairy-free it's pretty good! All gone in one night!

Best Tasting Peanut Butter Non-Dairy Ice Cream

I received this for free from Chick advisor and Ben & Jerry's, I had a hard time finding these non-dairy ice creams in Newfoundland, but when I did I was glad. The price of it was on sale for $5.99 at Dominion from $8.99. Usually I do not buy this ice cream because of the price, being a student it is hard to afford, however, when it is on sale I make sure to stock up as it tastes so good. The Peanut Butter Half Baked ice cream was so delicious, it was packed with flavor, had big pieces of brownie and chocolate and you can actually taste the peanut butter. You can not even tell that there is no dairy in it, it is just as good quality as their regular ice creams. I would choose to get their non dairy versions opposed to their regular ones as the flavors are just as good without having to harm animals. I will be recommending this to all my friends to try and will be purchasing the other flavors.

Loved the taste

Let me preface my review by saying I was given the chance to try ben & Jerrys peanut butter half baked non dairy for free and decided to buy this one in order to compare them.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall taste. This peanut butter flavour had the added benefit of chocolate and included cookie dough pieces and fudge brownies, and oh man is it creamy and delicious, completely different texture from the non-dairy.

Though I did like it, and do recommend it, but at $6-$7 for a small 500ml tub I'm on the fence about buying this again.

Better than I expected

Was actually hard to find this flavour, I ended up trying 3 different stores before finally finding it in non-dairy.

I was pleasantly surprised with the overall taste. I had previously tried the P.B. & COOKIES non dairy from Ben and Jerrys and was really bummed with the flavour. This peanut butter flavour had the added benefit of chocolate and included cookie dough pieces and fudge brownies.

My only flavour hang up, is the texture, its hard to explain but its almost like a freezer burned, flaky texture, and when straight from the freezer is really hard to scoop, all you get are small chunks. I bought the same flavour but with dairy, and oh man is it creamy and delicious, completely different texture.

Though I did like it, and do recommend it, but at $6-$7 for a small 500ml tub I'm on the fence about buying this again.

I would never know that it didn't have dairy!

The Ben and Jerry's non-dairy is delicious! I received a coupon to try the Peanut Butter Half Baked flavor for free courtesy of ChickAdvisor and it was delicious! I've tried a lot of non-dairy ice creams and I think this one has the best taste. I never would have known it didn't have dairy. I really like the peanut butter half baked flavor. The half baked flavor is my favorite dairy flavor so this was a welcome addition. I've tried other flavors since receiving this coupon and they all taste amazing. Would definitely recommend these.

Surpisingly good

This is the first dairy free ice cream I have tried and I have to say it did not disappoint! The ice cream is still quite creamy and sweet, with lots of cookie dough and brownie mixed in. I would definitely recommend this to friends who are vegan/dairy free, and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

Peanut buttery goodness!

I've never had any flavour of Ben and Jerry's ice cream before, so I was pretty stoked when I got the email saying I was selected to try the Peanut Butter Half Baked Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert. It is really delicious! The brownie chunks and gobs of peanut butter are sooo yummy! I would buy this again. But where I'm from, it costs almost $8 for this tiny thing. So if it's on sale, I'll buy it.

Une bonne petite crème glacée

J'ai reçu ce produit à essayer gratuitement et même si ce n'est pas une de mes préféré de Ben & Jerry's, je la recommanderais quand même a ceux qui aime le chocolat et le beurre de peanut. Le goût me fait penser au Reese.
Si ce n'était pas écrit, je n'aurais pas su que c'était sans produit laitier. Je ne vois pas de différence.
On goutte bien le beurre de peanut mais pas trop, ce qui fait qu'elle est bien équilibré avec les brownies et pâte à biscuits.
Le prix est bien selon moi si on prend en considération toute la variété de saveur quelle contient et ce, malgré un petit format.

The texture was hard and not creamy like ice cream, but the peanut butter cookie dough and brownie pieces were delish! It wouldnt be my first pick, but I would eat it again and would recommend it to people who are lactose intolerant or vegan.
