Great for a year... but not beyond.

We bought this unit after finding that our almost one yr old needed some middle of the night soothing sounds. It worked great... until it didn't. We only used the white noise on low, and then at about one yr of use it stopped working via the cord. Now if we want to use it we have to place three AAA batteries in it, which is no problem typically, however even with the top-rated batteries we are replacing every 4 days. Ugh. I guess we're unintentionally weaning her.
