I have tried Bite lip products before, but I never knew they had lip masks. I was so happy when I found out about these and couldn’t wait to try it out! I wish there were a better way to apply this other than using my fingers. The mask feels exactly like a super sticky lip gloss and I really would prefer not to use my fingers to apply it to my lips. my fingers still have that sticky feeling no matter how much you wash them. I started feeling a tingly sensation on my lips and having them feel a little bit plumper within a few minutes of having the mask on.After about ten minutes I stopped feeling a tingly sensation on my lips and the mask looked sort of melted in to my lips. I took that as a sign to wash my lips. I used warm water and my hands to remove the mask from lips and they felt really smooth but still a little sticky. I used a lip scrub to help minimize that sticky feeling. My lips were left really smooth and had a gorgeous red tint to them!
I had high hopes for this and with the 30 dollar price point, I was really hoping it would be as great as the reviews stated. I wouldn't say it will transform your lips, or it is any type of mask. It's more of a thick lip chap/salve. The smell is great and when it's is on it feels great, but it wears away and your back to needing more. Some people swear by it, but I won't be repurchasing, mind you, I did use it all only because it was 30 bucks.
This lip mask is basically a lanolin-based lip balm. The formula is über thick. The packaging needs a do-over. It's gluten-free and petroleum-free. This is a high-end, very natural product (great ingredients list) with a high-end price tag. It also contains a good dose of the antioxidant trans-resveratrol found in red wine. It also tastes good. Hefty price tag aside, I can't get enough of it. I LOVE the way it makes my lips feel. I put a tiny amount on at night and most of it is still there in the morning. During Canadian winters, that means my pucker stays plump.
I love this lip mask for night. I put a generous amount on my lips and they feel really soft the next morning. I'm still searching for a lip mask that is more hydrating (my lips are still chapped in the afternoon), but this is really nice.
I swear by this stuff because it actually works. I have a mini size in the original and after figuring out that I love it I went ahead and bought the full size from sephora in maple. The price really sucks thought its $30.. I think that they should be like $20 at most especially since the applicator really sucks. its like the end of a toothpaste tube which is hard to apply to your lips if you don't want to use your finger. Other than that the formula is amazing, smooth and heals chapped lips within hours.
This stuff is the best!!!! I bought it after googling "best lip moisturizers" when I was going through a painful battle with a harsh Canadian winter. The price is rather steep, but it lasts a long time and it WORKS! Your lips will be smoother overnight, and completely healed within a few days. A must-buy if you're a ripped up, chapped mess.
I recently purchased bite agave lip mask from sephora. It is very moisturizing to the lips but i feel its overpriced.
I like this product a lot. It makes my lips feel coated with hydration - but not sticky. It lasts for hours too. And the Champagne colour product in particular just gives the perfect hint of colour. Suitable for all day every day :) Highly recommended!
I bought this while getting a bunch of lipstick and it was sugessted by an employee at Sephora. She raved about it being the best thing ever and another customer chimed in saying it was her favourite so I figured Id give it a try. It has a minty tingly feeling with i liked a lot and went on smoothly. I applied at night but found that it would be pretty pasty in the morning and didn't feel much hydration (which is why i got it in the first place). I just gave it away to a friend, good ol' chapstick did a better job.
This product is perfection for my insanely chapped lips. Also perfect for layering underneath lipstick (even matte ones) Just dab a bit off prior to application. This is definitely a Canadians best friend in the winter!!
