Lasts for school

I received Blue Lizard sunscreen for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. I had seen it on the shelves at the store before but at it's higher price point, I usually pass it up. Having tried it now, I understand the benefit. First reaction is that it is less messy to apply. No dripping. The blue tint makes it fun for kids and is easy to tell which spots were missed. But the major benefits are that it leaves the skin very moisturized and it lasts. We apply sunscreen before school and hope the kid reapplied by lunch, but with Blue Lizard, even though it says good for 80 minutes, we noticed less sunburns from the school day. I recommend!

Great Mineral Sunscreen

I’ve tried a lot of different sunscreens for my kids, and Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 is hands down one of the best. It provides excellent coverage without that thick, sticky, or greasy feeling that so many mineral sunscreens have. It rubs in super smoothly and doesn’t leave a white cast, which is a huge plus — especially on busy mornings when no one wants to sit still!

One of my absolute favourite things about it is that there’s no overpowering scent. In fact, it really doesn’t smell like anything at all, which I appreciate so much — especially for little ones with sensitive skin or noses. And speaking of sensitive skin, it’s dermatologist-recommended, paraben-free, and fragrance-free, so it doesn’t cause any irritation or breakouts.

It’s also water-resistant for 80 minutes, so I don’t have to stress during splash pad visits or beach days. And the bottle even turns blue in the presence of harmful UV rays — which is not only cool, but also a great little reminder to reapply!

Overall, it just feels like a solid, dependable sunscreen I can trust to protect my kids without any of the annoying drawbacks. Definitely something I’ll be keeping in our summer rotation.

My autistic daughter didn't mind the texture

My daughter is autistic and doesn't like it when I put lotion on her. I usually use a spray on sunscreen lotion for this reason, but she didn't fuss at all when I applied the Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Lotion. We've used it on more than one occasion this summer, and it's been working great.

My kiddos put this on this morning before going to school it’s going to be a hot one. Kids were easily able to apply it to their skin, said it’s a soft texture and that it doesn’t stink like regular sunscreen does. No left over streaks from it, it’s a win win in our household!

Perfection for all day Protection

My daughter is 4yrs old and I'm always looking for the perfect kids sunscreen and this Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Lotion is perfect. The squeeze bottle is very handy but it did come alot due to hole being big, it has a clean smell to it like a typical sunscreen. She easily glided it onto her arms and it was clear after applying and didn't leave her skin feeling sticky. I love that it has a new formulated nourishing Blue Algae in it. It protected her all day while she blew bubbles on this hot sunny day. It didn't make her feel itchy which is what she needs for her very soft skin. Definitely my new favorite Sunscreen.

I was gifted the Blue Lizard Kids Mineral Sunscreen Lotion SPF 50 and was super excited to try it out with the nice weather comming our way. I love it, it is kids friendly, suitable for both their skin type, water resistant so they can enjoy a good time without me worrying or having to re-apply. Works well, definetly recommend and will continue to buy.

Effective sunscreen

I liked this sunscreen for my children it seemed to be effective! The only issue I had with it was, when my daughter applied it to herself she looked red under the sunscreen for about 10 mins & seemed quite thick
