I find myself reapplying more often because of how easy it is. The only downside is that it can leave a bit of a white cast and feels a tad thick or grainy if not rubbed in fully. If you’re looking for an easy‑to‑apply, mineral option, it’s a great pick. It’s been in my beach bag ever since I got it!

Great Stick SPF

I received this product free from Butterly in exchange for my review. I love small products I can throw in my purse, especially SPF, as I am very fair and burn easily. I always make sure to wear SPF on my face especially. This is my first time trying a stick SPF, I tried it on my face first, it applies easily but far too sticky and greasy compared to the lotion version. I love that it’s SPF 50 and will continue to use this but on my body instead. I also love that this product is non irritating to my sensitive skin and made with zinc oxide.

This little stick is a lifesaver for quick, on-the-go sun protection—especially for sensitive areas like the face, ears and neck. The formula is thick and definitely leans more on the physical side (hello zinc!) but that’s exactly why it works so well. I love that it’s fragrance-free, gentle on sensitive skin and water-resistant.
It does leave a noticeable white cast, which is the only reason I knocked off a star. But honestly, for something this protective and reef-safe, I’ll take it. Perfect for tossing in a diaper bag, purse, or even a pocket when I’m out with the kids. Great coverage and peace of mind in one swipe!

Convenient to use

Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 is easy and convenient to use. The stick is not hard so when it glides on the skin it gives an appropriate amount. But it also applies unevenly and needs to be smoothed out by hand. I like that it's fragrance free, dye free, paraben free. So gentle on sensitive skin.

The Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen Stick is such a cute and handy little essential!It's a mineral SPF 50 that glides on smoothly and dries clear-no white cast and no greasy feel, which I love! It has skin-loving ingredients like aloe, shea butter, and vitamin E, so it feels super moisturizing too. I usually use it when I'm makeup-free because it can move my makeup a bit. But for reapplying on the go, it's perfect!

Great ingredients

I would say that if you're not as pale as me, the white cast could be strong. I was wearing a black shirt and like most mineral products, the product stained my shirt and left that classic mark!

I definitely trust the ingredients, but since you have to rub the product in quite a bit after, you would be getting your hands messy anyways. I would suggest this for beach heavy days, not a casual day in the office.
