Easy Sun Protection On the Go

I've been using the Blue Lizard Sensitive Mineral Sunscreen Stick SPF 50 before heading out for gardening or long walks. I love how easy it is to apply—just swipe, rub in, and go! Summer is now here, and it's time for sunscreen! Not just for me, but also my daughter.
Unfortunately, she has official stole my Blue Lizard Mineral 50 SPF sunscreen Stick that I
received for free in exchange for an honest review. I don’t mind since lately her school has
been asking for the kids not to come with sunscreen sprays but with sunscreen sticks. So
far, both my daughter and I have appreciated that this is an easy application for her skin.
She just glides it along her skin and then just rubs it in. Which blends in seconds, and she
can go along with her day like normal with her skin still being smooth. I did like that you can
also apply this to your face, and it won’t clog any pores. She has had a few water balloon
fights with her daddy, and i like that it has water resistance to stay on. Lastly, I love its
compact size. It doesn’t take a lot of space in her school bag, or even in my purse. I think
this is great for the whole family to use, if only I can get it back from my daughter.

It’s not dark skinned friendly

I love that this sunscreen is both sweat and water resistant. It’s moisturizing with a dewy finish and has no fragrance. As a dark skinned girlie, I try to avoid mineral sunscreens because of the cast and there is a noticeable cast with this one. I think I can get away with it but anyone darker will have a problem with the cast. You have to rub it in with your fingers which defeats the purpose of reapplication. I would only use this under makeup.

I’ve been using Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen Stick and it’s quickly become a favourite for mess-free, everyday sun protection. This SPF 50+ mineral formula glides on smoothly, rubs in clear, and dries without any greasy feel.

It’s made with Zinc Oxide and nourishing ingredients like aloe vera, shea butter, sunflower seed oil, and vitamin E. It protects and moisturizes at the same time. With no parabens, no fragrances, and no chemical active ingredients, it’s ideal for sensitive skin.

It is one of the best SPF product I have used. Very moisturizing and not at all dry. Would buy again. Best part is that it doesn’t leave white residue. Consistency is light and thin, not thick and sticky. I have already ordered one from Walmart for my brother. He is also loving it.

I received this free in exchange for an honest review / all thoughts and opinions are my own. My first really big like about this product is that it is 100% vegan, and that is has so many great ingredients like aloe Vera & shea butter. My kids and hubby all have very sensitive skin, so this has been a win for us. The packaging itself is also very cute but super functional, it’s very travel size friendly so perfect to toss into a bag or purse for using on the go. It is also fragrance free! Another check mark on things I love when it comes to skincare. It’s very easy to apply, doesn’t feel sticky or tacky & dries down really well & absorbed quicker than I anticipated! I genuinely enjoyed using this, and my kiddo didn’t scoff or get impatient when I applied it to his face (that alone is a win, if you know you know lol). It’s also easy enough for him to apply himself so it’s PERFECT for his end of the school year field trip coming up! The price is also reasonable compared to other sunscreens, and it feels like the perfect face sunscreen (as someone that often skips sunscreen on my face *i knooow it’s awful* just hate that sunscreen feeling) I didn’t mind this at ALL especially with it not feeling greasy or heavy, it just felt like a second skin on my face so I’m definitely going to be keeping this on hand. Thank you so much for the opportunity to test this out and fall in love with a product I otherwise probably wouldn’t have picked up on my own. If you’re in the fence about trying it, you won’t be disappointed.
