Stunning and versatile palette

First impression: the outside of this palette looks like expensive chocolate. So obviously, I love it already. Then you open it and the palette colours are just so pretty you have to try them on IMMEDIATELY. The top flap opens to reveal instructions as well as a decently large mirror.

You start with the rosy colour in the middle part of your cheek and then use any of the three highlight colours as accents. I tried the two lighter tones - one on each side of my face for comparison. There is a fair amount of sheen in the highlight colours. You apply this colour to your cheekbones and just under your eyebrows, if desired.

After comparing, I think the light gold is a bit better for my skintone than the pale pink, although I think they are both very flattering. The gold was a little warmer in tone compared to the very slight frostiness of the pink.

I will have to hide this palette from my nieces. This is exactly the kind of product that a young girl would "borrow" from auntie!
