Definitely not natural!

The packaging was nice and simple looking. When I open it, you could tell the wand and bristles were a rubber material. The formula was dried up. I applied it but it wouldn't apply to my eyelashes very well and it had a very strong chemical odor which made my eyes water. I did not like this product and wouldn't recommend this!

All Aflutter Volumizing Mascara

I usually wear mascara everyday when I am going out and on special occasions. First impressions I really like the brush with this mascara, i felt it really helped to apply mascara to each individual lash and also allow me to touch up the smaller lashes in the corners of my eyes which is hard to do with some of the mascaras that feature a more bigger brush. The product packaging mentions that it instantly volumizes, curls and offers an all day smudge proof wear. I did find that it volumized my lashes however i didn't really notice any curl (although it mentioned a natural curl). I still found myself using a eyelash curler before applying the mascara due to that. I am really fond of the fact that the product contains jojoba oil and beeswax because even your lashes need moisture and care! I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a more defining brush and moisturizing mascara.

Not volumizing, doesn't set

Mascara is a product I am picky about as my eyes are sensitive. I hate mascara that flakes or smears, and I have a brush preference. Burt's Bees All Aflutter Volumizing Mascara has me a bit on the fence.

Right off, I don't like that it smells like honey. I don't like scent near my eyes, though I recognize that beeswax being a main ingredient that could just be a by-product. I would recommend that neutralizing the scent be looked into for those of us with sensitivities though.

The brush was not my preferred shape, and didn't deliver on the promised volumizing. I found that instead it was great at separating the lashes and coating them individually with the product. However, the shape also made it tricky to get into the inner corners and to handle the lower lashes, for me there was a bit of a mess to clean up in consequence. I normally don't like this shape at all, but I was actually pleasantly surprised by Burt's Bees' version of it.

The formula didn't do much in and of itself. I found it to be thin, multiple coats on the lashes still did not build up any appreciative volume and instead just lead to some clumping of the shorter lashes at the corners of my eyes. The Classic Black shade was a rich black and very pretty. I did notice a tendency to smear a bit, but not too bad for a natural mascara. I really just think it should not have been marketed as volumizing.

Love It

I have been using Burt's Bees products for a long time now its so exciting that they are bringing in more makeup products.

I want to be using makeup that is made from natural sources and most of there products are 100% natural origin.I love its never tested on animals,no parabens,phthalates,sls,petrolatum,talc,or synthetic fragrances.

This volumizing mascara is something I need as my eyelashes are thinning as I age.I love the classic black color and that its made from jojoba oil and beeswax.

It definatly gave my eye lashes volume and actually made them feel nourished. I had no smudges,flaking or clumping.I really like the design of the brush as well perfect for adding volume.

I would recommend this to anyone.

clumps a little but works great!

It’s a little clumpy but the fine bristles help with this issue. I love how long the brush is, it’s great for giving lashes volume and length! I will definitely be buying this over and over again!
