This tub of moisturizing cream is a bit pricey at around $16 but it is certainly worth every penny.
My kids have all had patches of eczema occasionally especially during the winter months, and CeraVe was one of the very few products that made a difference. The fact that it's fragrance-free is really important to me as scented lotions tend to make our eczema worse. My daughter has some sort of blemish-y rash on her upper arms which I was told was as a result of dryness. She now uses CeraVe regularly and it is helping.
You can also use this as a facial moisturizer since it's non-comedogenic but I find it a bit rich for my combination skin. I am a big fan of CeraVe products and will buy it whenever I find a good sale or coupon. Recommended!
This product is very creamy and goes on very easily and absorbs quick. Works well on my daughters dry skin from exzema. Recommend by our dermatologist
I LOVE this moisturizer! I have eczema on my hands and no moisturizer I tried could keep it at bay until my doctor recommended this brand. It is great at moisturizing, doesn't leave a greasy feeling and my hands feel hydrated all day without having to reapply it.
While on accutane i started getting red rough patches on my arms and legs. This product was recommended to me, and ever since i started moisturizing twice a day with CeraVe, the patches have gone and faded.
I read about this moisturizer online when I was having a reaction to me previous moisturizer. I really like CeraVe, but it could be a tad bit more moisturizing in the winter time. I do find myself using an oil overtop for really dry days. The biggest downside is the cost of it.
First off, CeraVe has a few different types of moisturizer but my favourite, and the one I find the most effective (and you get the most bang for your buck) is the large one in the tub. What's awesome about this cream is that it's supppperrr emollient without being too heavy or breaking you out. It contains hyaluronic acid to replace lost lipids. I use this day and night and I find that's really helped to not just temporarily cure but help solve my blemish issues because my skin is generally not as dry on a regular basis.
I have severe eczema and this was recommended to me by the dermatologist. My son also has very dry skin. What is different about CeraVe is that it replaces the lipids in your skin that your body is lacking. I put it on immediately after a bath or shower (while my skin i still damp) and it seals in the moisture. It does not burn, it does not sting, it simply does what it is touted to do. Love this product and couldn't live without it!
I have very sensitive skin, and I switched to this moisturizer after having a reaction to new makeup. Not the best time to try a new moisturizer, I know, but I felt like I was running out of options. Within a week, the dry flaky skin resulting from my reaction was significantly reduced, and I felt like my skin was looking more radiant. I've been using this as my go-to moisturizer since, and have been more than pleased with it. It goes on light, it doesn't irritate my skin, it's convenient and there's a lot of bang for your buck because the tubs are huge! I've even converted my non-moisturizing boyfriend in to a CeraVe user.
I have sensitive skin. This goes on light. Also no perfumes, dyes. Doctor recommended.
