Good if your diet needs less sugar

This ice cream had a good flavour but could tell it was a bit different than regular ice cream. It would be a great option for someone who requires a low sugar diet but probably not something I would buy often. It is sweetened with artificial sweeteners.

Delicious icecream!

I had the pleasure of trying the Chapman’s no sugar added lactose free salty caramel and peanut ice cream through ChickAdvisor. I have had Chapman’s products before but this takes the cake! It is creamy, delicious, and had just the right amount of caramel and peanuts. It makes for the perfect treat any time of year! It is luscious and I would never guess it is a healthier ice cream option. I had mine in a waffle bowl but would be great as is or on top of shortcake or pie.

I had the opportunity to try Chapman's No Sugar Added, Lactose Free Ice Cream, in Salty Caramel & Peanuts. I was skeptical going into this one, as a sugar addicted dairy lover...no sugar added AND lactose free?? Is lactose the thing that makes things taste good? I was about to find out.

I was pleasantly surprised first off that the texture was nice. It was creamy & smooth & a bit light. Even the vanilla part of the ice cream without any ripple in it tasted a little like salted caramel, and the ripples themselves have that nice distinctive salted caramel flavour. I wouldn't have guessed it was a no sugar added product, as the sweetness seemed on par. Also, considering it is sweetened using maltitol and sucralose, I was also happy it didn't leave behind that funny taste that other products that use sugar alcohols can sometimes have.

As a person who likes their ice cream LOADED with things, I would've liked more nuts or more ripples of salted caramel, but for the average person, there are enough ripples and nuts evenly scattered throughout the tub to ensure every scoop has some.
Overall, we have a winner! I'd you're trying to cut back on sugar and/or need a lactose free product, go ahead & indulge! You won't be disappointed 😊

Delicious and Creamy!

As someone who developed sensitivities later in life I can tell you it's been hard to find ice-cream that tastes as amazing as the real stuff! The caramel was in abundance and the peanut flavor lingered afterwards. Sweet., creamy and delicious. Will definitely buy again and will be looking for other flavor's to try!

Great no sugar added and lactose free ice cream

I have never tried a no sugar added (NSA) ice cream before, so I was a bit afraid to try it. However, it tastes almost exactly like regular ice cream. If someone gave it to me without telling me it's NSA and lactose free, I likely wouldn't know. I'm still not a fan of sucralose in general but luckily it is very low down the list of ingredients. The ice cream was creamy and easy to scoop and the salty and sweet flavors were well balanced. I would recommend this for anyone that doesn't want added sugars and/or are lactose intolerant.

This melt in your mouth goodness with the nutty peanuts is so good. The caramel makes it sweeter than I would like but that meant that I needed a smaller portion for dessert. Cannot wait to try the other flavours. #TryChapmansCanada #gotitfree

So good for my multiple allergies. Lactose and sugar free for a lactose intolerance and diabetic person as myself this was a perfect snack. Lots of flavor

Chapman's did not disappoint with this Ice Cream. For being Lactose Free and no sugar added, I was pleasantly surprised by the creamy texture, and great flavor. The Salty Caramel and peanuts make for a very tasty Ice Cream. Definitely recommend it. #TryChapmansCanada #gotitfree

Creamy and Tasty Treat!

This ice cream is delicious! It is sweet and creamy with just the right amount of peanut pieces sprinkled throughout. I appreciate that there is no strange aftertaste like I find with some 'no sugar added' products. I didn't notice a very prevalent salty caramel flavour, otherwise I would have given it 5 stars. I could taste a hint of caramel but it lacked salt. Overall, this is a yummy product and I would definitely buy it again.

Dairy-Free Delight!

I love this dairy free ice cream. It doesn't have any weird aftertaste or mouthfeel like other dairy free options. The flavour and texture is great! The bits of peanuts and the velvety texture of this dessert is just right and the ripple of caramel is so delicious. The fact that the sugar content is so low makes this an amazing choice for parents trying to give their kids healthier options.
