Love that there are 18 in the box for the price and that they're conveniently packaged, but they're not my (and my family's) favourite treats, unfortunately. First of all, they're very messy to eat because the top part that is dipped in chocolate is heavier than the rest and will fall off when unpackaged 9 times out of 10. Secondly, the taste just isn't there, the product is just too light and sort of watery. I also don't like that the chocolate flavour in the Neapolitan variety is only included as a topping.

Yummy but melts fast

As someone who grew up on classic Neapolitan ice cream, I was immediately intrigued by Chapman’s take on it—especially with the “Super Frosty” twist and that full chocolatey coating. I recently picked up a box on a whim, and here’s my honest take after polishing off a couple (okay, three) in one sitting.

They look pretty fun right out of the box—nostalgic and playful. The chocolate shell is a nice touch, adding a bit of flair and making them feel more like a treat than your standard ice cream bar.

The chocolate coating is thinner than I expected, but it has a nice snap when you bite in. It’s sweet and leans more toward “chocolatey” than true chocolate, but that’s pretty typical for this kind of product. Inside, the classic trio of strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate are all there, but more subtle. They’re not super rich or creamy—more on the airy, light side (as the “Super Frosty” name suggests). It’s almost like ice milk, which makes them refreshing but not overly indulgent.

The strawberry flavor stands out most, surprisingly, with a nice burst of fruity sweetness. Vanilla is mild, and the chocolate ice cream is pleasant but not too deep in flavor.

They’re on the smaller side, which isn’t a bad thing if you’re looking for a guilt-free treat. Chapman’s is known for good value, and this one continues that trend—affordable, accessible, and made in Canada, which is a plus if you like supporting local.

Chapman’s Super Frosty Chocolatey Dipped Neapolitan Treat is definitely a throwback-style dessert. It’s not gourmet, and it’s not trying to be. But for what it is—a light, nostalgic, chocolate-dipped freezer treat—it hits the mark. Great for kids, hot afternoons, or just a casual sweet bite after dinner.

Perfect gluten,nut free option

Recently tried this icecream which has layers of strawberry inside and coated with Chocolate and Vanilla flavour. It was really nice but wish it could have more different flavours than just one . It comes with pack of 18 and perfect for your summer gatherings
