good substitute for salon dye

I spontaneously wanted to dye my hair darker to cover old salon highlights and i’m very impressed. i was worried it wouldn’t be near as good as the outcome of salon dye but i was wrong. it dyed all my hair one nice rich dark colour. It is very easy to do at home and the colours are very rich. it is SUPER affordable compared to the salon and is about the same quality. my hair didn’t feel that much worse after using it.
however after a month my hair wasn’t as dark as it was for the first two weeks after dying it. it did slightly fade for me and i started to see some of my highlights again.
it comes with a nice scented colour saving conditioner which they give you a generous amount of. the instructions are very easy to follow and it only takes about 20-30 mins in total to dye it and wait.

NEW CLAIROL NICE N EASY is TERRIBLE!

Clairol has shot themselves in the foot. As a user of Nice n Easy for many, many years and loving it, I used the new formula as the old ones were all off the shelf. The smell is terrible, supposed to be herbal or something, it's disgusting. The number 2 color bottle is now a tube and is supposed to be mixed with l, but I had to almost cut the tube open, it was so hard. I don't have arthritis but I had a very rough time getting it out, it was too thick. I used the product as per the instructions. The number 3, (conditioner) came out like water. I rinsed very, very well could not get the smell out. To my horror, when my hair dried, the beautiful multi-tones I had with the old product were all gone and my hair was a horrible yellowy straw color. It was also sticking to my scalp, stringy and dirty looking, absolutely horrified, I cried and cried. I had to-re wash my hair the next day, could not stand the smell and the greasy feel. Some of the gray was covered, other parts looked like a weird color. I have read the reviews on their website and on Facebook and many have had the same horrible experience as me. The only response we have had from Clairol is to call their toll-free number to ''discuss'' our specific problem. We all had the same problem, it is awful. Need to find a new hair color now. I strongly advise anyone who has concerns to get in touch with Clairol, it's a terrible thing to take off a wonderful product like the last Nice n Easy formula and replace it with this junk. It is also higher in price, my local store was selling it at $12 Cdn, where I was buying the older one at under $10 and often on sale at $6,99, I am more than disappointed, I am angry that the only response is call the toll free number. Sorry Clairol, good company, but you goofed this time. At least admit it and stop saying things like "some people don't like change" We like change when it is for the better.

Love this new formula!

I got this as a free product from pinchme. I really like the new floral scent and it is so easy to use. The extra conditioners definitely make my hair feel nice and soft.

It worked on my dark hair.

So i recently used the new version of this hair dye that has a built-in conditioning protection i was so afraid regardless lol i dyed only a section of my hair in the back. Let me say that the color i went for is light auburn and i have almost black hair but after wash out it didnto see and thing but maybe two days later it lifted my hair color to like a fawn color. And i can confirm that my hair feels just as the rest of my hair does.

Great hair dye

One bottle covered all my long hair. I was blonde and went to light brown. A little chemical smell but not too overbearing. Easy to apply. Color is constant through out hair.

This product is worth every penny!!!

This hair dye is amazing. It has a low chemical smell and has an amazing floral scent that is not to strong. The product is easy to use at home and has a salon quality look! I will be purchasing this product again and again!!

"Nice N' Easy" to cover your grays

I've been looking for an easy to apply home hair color and tried the Nice N' Easy creme color in #4 dark brown. The directions were easy to follow. Following the instructions, I applied to my roots first, and then the rest of my hair-no drips! At first glance, it looks like there isn't enough product for really long hair but I ended up with left overs in the bottle. It was very easy to rinse out the remaining dye, and I noticed that it didn't stain my skin either. I shampooed like normal, and applied the included conditioner. The only gripe I have is that the tube is very small. Once I dried my hair, I noticed that it was soft, shiny and looked great. It has great grey coverage and has taken at least 10 years off me!!

Great at extending between colourings

I could not get in for a colouring at the salon and badly needed a root touch up. The product was great for covering the greys in my dark blond hair. The scent of the product was nothing special, but fine.

Nice and Easy Root Touch Up kit is the best product that I have found for my grays between coloring. I have tried other brands including stick application, mousse, and powder.
Nothing comes close to my Nice and Easy. Done and looking better in 10 minutes.

Only kind I buy.

While I have tried several different dyes over the past years, this product is my favourite.
The Golden Blond is the most natural one I have found, and it is the nearest to my natural colour.
The price is about the same as the others, although you can usually find coupons for it.
I noticed that they are "new and improved" now, I hope that the price does not increase because of it.........
