*I received the Clarisonic Mia 2 free from the Product Review Club*

I was a bit skeptical about Clarisonic but I really wanted to try it, so I was really excited to be selected as a reviewer. I received a Neon yellow/green Mia2 (I think the shade is Energy). First impression: It was heavier than I thought it would be! Opening the box, I was pleased to see a travel case, sample size cleanser, and charger. I really like the charger, and I like how you can get so many uses before having to recharge.

I used the Mia2 nightly for about a week, but I was feeling like the brush head was a bit too rough for me, especially as I use products with Glycolic acid and other AHAs, I didn't want to hurt my skin. I was really surprised to see that the brush head included is actually the sensitive skin head, because it didn't feel like it! I do like the feeling of my skin after using it, but I feel that it is too exfoliating to use everyday with the sensitive brush head.

I purchased the Luxe Cashmere Cleanse brush head after feeling the difference in a department store. Used with the Mia2, it offers a really, gentle cleanse which is perfect for my second cleansing. I would not use the Mia2 with the sensitive head every night again, but I do use it with the Cashmere head.

Pros:
- Cashmere head is fantastic and great for nightly use. The other Luxe heads seemed really nice too
- Charger does not take up too much room, lasts for about 2 weeks of use depending on how often you use it
- Colour options

Cons:
- Price. I wouldn't buy this at full price. It is a nice to have, luxury item in my opinion
- Sensitive brush is still too rough for those how use chemical exfoliants in their skincare routine
- I personally don't like how Clarisonic doesn't consider it's use as exfoliation!

I wanted to make sure that I had at least week of use before I wrote my review so that I could provide my honest thoughts on how I feel it's working.

First, I love the packaging. It's compact, cute and felt like I was getting a quality product. There wasn't too much extra plastic extra, just enough to keep my Mia 2 safe. Instructions were super easy and cleaning and charging this puppy is a breeze.

I was super excited to receive this product because I'm getting to that age where I realize how important it is that I take better care of my skin, and had been thinking about how I should really see about getting a facial more often.

Lo and behold, I have a facial every day now! I love the feel of the Clarisonic - it’s so light that the first few uses I worried I wasn’t doing it right. It barely felt like anything. But after 2 or 3 uses, wow did my skin ever feel clean! Not tight or dry, but just really touchable and soft. I couldn’t stop feeling my face!

The cleanser is a nice light gel that doesn’t feel like it’s stripping your skin (I’ve had that feeling with others). Afterwards I find my moisturizer absorbs better and my skin looks so much brighter. I couldn’t believe the amount of dirt that seemed to be on the brush :S And I before Mia 2, I regularly cleansed, toned and moisturized, so it shouldn’t have been that bad.

Overall, I really love my Mia 2 and I use it everyday before bed. I tried using twice a day, but found that I didn’t really need it that much first thing in the morning.

If you are in the market for an at-home cleansing device I would definitely recommend the Mia 2. That said, if I'm being totally honest, the price tag would be just a little scary for me (although, how much is one facial at a spa?) As I said though, if you know you want one and just need to decide which one - definitely think this is a great way to go.

I've been using the Mia 2 for two weeks now. I do like it, but haven't really noticed any changes in my skin. I went into the review with a fairly good skincare routine though... I like the size and shape of the product, it feels really good in the hand and the charging system is so easy. I am having a really hard time with the price point. I can only see myself paying at most $60 for something like this... Preferably including a spare brush head. If I lost my Clarisonic Mia 2 today, I would certainly miss it, but I wouldn't pay $150 for it.

Update: Now after over a month of using, I do feel different about it. My skin this winter is better than it has ever been and the amount of blackheads/whiteheads, which I figured would just always be there after years of ouchie facials and pore strips, are almost gone! In my original review I said I loved the product but didn't feel that it was worth the pricetag... now I think it is!

The Clarisonic Mia 2 is amazing, not only does it look cute, but it does wonders to my skin.
I always clean my face first with a makeup wipe, or a quick wash down with a gentle cleanser then use my clairsonic. The amount of makeup that comes off using it is ridiculous! It really does deep clean, and removes all my makeup. This product is better then any cleanser product I have used before and has really cleared my skin.
I would recommend this product to everyone!

When I first set out to buy the Mia 2 after hearing about the rave review from my friend, the store that I went to didn't sell Clarisonic. Instead the salesperson recommended the Foreo Luna instead. Thrrefore I bought the Luna mini for $159 and it really does work. My pores are smaller and the face feels more thoroughly cleansed. However, in the back of my mind I was always wondering what could have been if I had bought the Mia 2. Thanks to Chickadvisor, my dream came true as they sent me a Mia 2 to review!

The Mia 2 came in an attractive lime green colour (and ther are other colours to choose from), rivaling the cuteness of my purple Luna mini. The Mia 2 is a bit bigger and doesn't stand on its own. I was initially worried about the harshness of the brush bristles but turned out I have no problem using it twice a day. I also read that you should not be applying much pressure on your face. After using the Mia 2 for two days with good results and without any side effects, I started using the Mia 2 on one half of my face and the Luna mini on the other half. Is has been almost a week and to be honest I could not see any difference on the 2 sides so far. So it seems like the two gadgets are similar in effectiveness in the short term. If anything happens in the future, I will update my review.

Since for me they work the same, I would recommend the Luna mini over the Mia 2. This is because the Luna mini doesn't need replacement brushes. Its silicon brush is hygienic and easy to wash. On the Mia 2, you ate supposed to change the brushhead every 3 months to prevent bacteria. So in addition to the $180 upfront cost, there is a substantial cost for maintenance. I found that the Mia 2 brush doesn't dry completely between uses. If money is not an issue, by all maens go for the Clarisonic to follow the big trend. In my opinion, another advantage os the Luna miniis that one charge lasts 450 uses, whereas the Mia 2 only lasts 24 uses.

I received a lime green Clarisonic Mia 2 through the Chick Advisor Review Club. I had tried the original Clarisonic YEARS ago when they first came out but had a negative experience. The Clarisonic Mia 2 came with the unit, a charging cable, the Refreshing Gel cleanser and a "Gentle" brush head (white). From past experience I knew the gentle brush head was pretty harsh (I have extremely sensitive skin) but I gave it a try anyway and used the Refreshing Gel cleanser. This combination was WAY too harsh on my skin, felt super dry & tight after -- but no dead skin! The next day I purchased a "Delicate" brush head (blue) and tried again. Still too harsh. Instead of using it twice a day or even daily, over the past few weeks I realized I can only use it every other day. Also the Refreshing Gel cleanser would be better-suited to someone with oily skin as it can be very drying. I have extraordinarily sensitive skin but still get flakey patches, especially in the winter. I'm also prone to clogged pores (yay! makeup!). The Clarisonic Mia 2 does as it claims -- all the dead skin is gone and the makeup is completely gone. It was easy to use in the shower or at the sink. Just find a brush head, cleanser and frequency to suit your particular skin type/issue (everyone is different!).

LOVE it! It feels great, and exfoliates cleanses all in one. My skin has definitely improved since using this and definitely is smoother. You can also see the makeup that comes off onto the brush that otherwise gets left on your skin, showing that other products do not get all of the makeup off your skin.

Cleansed my skin better than any other thing I've ever tried. I've noticed a great improvement in my skin over the past several days. After I used it for the first time I noticed my skin was very soft.

The Clarisonic Mia 2 is lightweight, compact, and very travel-friendly. I LOVE that you can choose from a variety of colours because this just adds an element of personality to each person's washroom. You can also choose different brushes (normal, deep pore, acne, and more) at certain retail stores!

One thing I didn't like about this is that we weren't able to choose which type of face brush we prefer right off the bat. By default, it comes with a sensitive face brush. Also, I'm not a fan of the cleanser, but I don't have much of a reason for that besides the fact that I like my other cleanser better.

Another note - I don't consider my skin sensitive. I don't break out from skin/makeup products or any new things I put on my face. Interestingly enough, the Clarisonic seems to cause me to break out! I have a couple of pimples on the side of my forehead, but nothing major. I'm hoping they will go away soon.

• How did the Clarisonic Mia 2 perform based on its advertised benefits?
With the sensitive brush head, it's very gentle on the skin. You can adjust between two speeds in order to get the results you want. I'm really not sure about its promise to improve fine lines and wrinkles. I think I have to continue using it to see those effects, if any.

• Did the product deliver better results than cleansing without a device (ie. with just your hands)?
This really does clean better than hands! I feel that it offers a deeper clean than a regular face cloth would. My face immediately feels cleaner after using it.

• Would you recommend the Clarisonic Mia 2 to a friend?
I would definitely recommend this product to a friend, especially if they're in need of something lightweight for travel. It might not work out for someone who breaks out easily though.

Prior to using the Clarisonic Mia, I thought I was effectively washing my face. But I was completely wrong. Your skin will literally feel the cleanest it has ever felt after using! I highly recommend investing in a great moisturizer though, because you are at risk of over drying. But wow - it's like a massage and facial cleanser in one! Leaves your skin feeling extremely soft and squeeky clean! Simply remove your eye makeup, and the Clarisonic Mia takes care of the rest. I like that this product is completely waterproof, so you can take it in the shower with you. Very happy with this product!
