I was selected to try this product as a part of the product review club by Chickadviser in exchange for my honest opinion. I had high hopes for this product but I think that is because I'm used to another brand of almond milk. I was excited to try Dream Coconut Milk as I love coconut and thought it would be a good addition to my morning smoothies. Unfortunately it was a bit thinner than I thought and it was pretty bland to me. While it didn't do anything bad to my smoothie it didn't add anything to it either. It turned out much thinner than normal with no discernible coconut taste. I tried a bit in a glass to drink straight and there was a slight coconut taste - mild, not overpowering. Would I buy this again? No, probably not. If I couldn't drink milk it would be a good alternative - it doesn't taste bad. It would do. However, i don't have any issues with milk so I wouldn't by this again. Even when I'm following Paleo, I think I'll just stick to almond milk. I did like the package Chickadvisor sent - they included a cake tester and a couple cute tea towels! I enjoyed that nice addition very much! Thanks, Chickadvisor!
good: This food is very low in Cholesterol. It is also a good source of Dietary Fiber.
bad: This food is high in Sodium, and very high in Saturated fat..i love the flavor.i dont like juice or pop and ice water gets really boring .. its nice to have a healthy choice that tastes so good.i can drink milk... but i dont like it very much...i will try this in smoothies too.but i like it just the way it is .. mellow coconut flavor...refreshing
Being unable to drink milk I started drinking and eating the ricedream products. Great and refreshing taste
I was really excited to try this product, courtesy of ChickAdvisor. I absolutely love coconut! I love coconut juice, coconut rice, dried coconut, coconut cream pie, coconut cake, etc, etc! I was expecting a rich coconutty taste with Coconut Dream, but instead, I found that it tasted pretty bland, with just a hint of a coconut taste/smell. I could almost say that if I didn't know what I was tasting, I might find it hard to figure out that it was a coconut based beverage, even though the carton boasts that it's "made from REAL COCONUTS". Perhaps because it's unsweetened, it tastes so bland?! Honestly, I'm pretty disappointed with the taste, maybe because I expected to be more rich tasting. The beverage (I can't call it milk, cuz it's not) is thin and almost watery, and was so boring that I didn't want to try using it in any smoothie or dessert. On the other hand, my sister loved it so I let her have the rest of my carton. But then again, she loves bland, tasteless food!
I am sooo not living the Coconut Dream :(
I found the taste to be super bland and not very Coconutty! Now bear in mind I did have a cold coming on, but I don't feel it was that, I think it was not for me sadly. Like when you like someone, finally get to kiss them, but that chemistry is simply not there, well that sadly sums up my experience with Coconut Dream.
Am I disappointed in my taste buds, absolutely !
I was selected to review the coconut dream beverage and I love it! This beverage is so versatile. I've used it in my smoothies, cereals, baking, drinking and so much more! I love the taste of the coconut, which is my favourite flavour! Also It's very smooth tasting.
Overall I would say that it is really a very good tasting beverage that works excellent in a variety of different recipes as a substitute for milk.
Highly recommend.
I received this product to try as part of the Chick Advisor Product Review Club, heads up!
After my purchase, I used this in many ways. I REALLY enjoyed it in smoothies (a subtle taste of coconut, but not overpowering! with berries, spinach and bananas, would recommend for sure) but didn't find it filling enough to use in coffee. I like that there's not a chalky aftertaste, since I've found that with some other milk-replacements such as almond milk. I also enjoyed it in cereal, and look forward to using it while baking. My vegan roommate is a fan, and I imagine she's more of the target market, so HOORAY!
If you're used to drinking 2% milk, the texture/thickness is closer to skim.

I have been off milk for a while now owing to some dietary restrictions. While I can still tolerate it in small amounts, I mainly substitute almond or coconut milk when I need it to drink or when baking desserts. I tried Coconut Dream as a switch from my regular coconut milk, and I must say the results were definitely pleasing.
The texture was creamy enough to have a consistency similar to homo milk, Moreover, the taste was delicate, meaning I could taste the coconut flavour without feeling like I was drinking liquefied coconut meat. This is especially important if I want to use it on cereal or with recipes, since I don't want the flavours to complete with one another. Overall, I will be buying this product again in the future.
Thanks for selecting me to review this product! The kit the coupon came in was super cute!
I normally buy almond milk as I am dairy intolerant but it tends to be a bit watery for baking. I used Coconut Dream to make Lemon Blueberry Muffins and they turned out great! I will definitely buy this again!
I absolutely love Coconut Milk and the Dream brand has produced such an amazing quality!
The taste is great, consistency is perfect and I don't have any bad aftertaste like I do with some other brands. I am lactose intolerant and get breakouts all over my face when I consume dairy so having such a great option is really important and Coconut Dream is perfect.
I also must note that this is a DREAM to bake and cook with, I made a birthday cake with this and it turned out perfectly.
